On June 17, 2015, Dylann Roof committed a terrorist attack against the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, in Charleston, South Carolina, where he murdered 9 African-American men and women during a night time Bible study. R.E.A.L. has learned that terrorist Dylann Roof was inspired and linked to white supremacist, Nazi, and Confederate websites.
Inspired by white supremacist groups, Dylann Roof left a twisted white supremacist manifesto against African-Americans, “Jewish agitation,” and other identity groups, as a “rationale” for his terrorist attack. Terrorist Dylann Roof defended Southern slavery of human beings on Confederate plantations, demeaning African-Americans as “stupid and violent,” calling for violence against African-Americans, and claiming he was taking his “fight” to Charleston in what resulted in his terrorist attack on the Emanuel AME Church, since he stated there was “no real KKK” taking violent action. The terrorist Roof continued his racist attack on Hispanics as “enemies,” and sought to “destroy the Jewish identity.”
The terrorist Dylann Roof stated in his “manifesto” that he was educated to hate African-Americans and other minorities from his contact with the white supremacist Council of Conservative Citizens (CofCC aka CCC), which R.E.A.L. has previously reported on. The CofCC’s racist extremist views include the twisted vision that “God is the author of racism. The national CofCC group is based in St.Louis, Missouri, not far from the Ferguson atrocities against African-Americans. (Missouri leaders allied themselves with the Confederate States of America (CSA) on October 31, 1861.) The CofCC group’s founder Gordom Baum died in March 2015. The CofCC group has been led by its president Earl Holt, who provided donations to several conservative political campaigns.
Mr. Holt has declined to address the issue of the CofCC’s influence in inspiring terrorist Dylann Roof other than being “deeply saddened,” and asked a former CofCC director to be the public spokesman on this. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) reported that the CofCC president made statements about taking “a large caliber handgun”… to “help mitigate violent black crime at its source…” days before the Dylann Roof terrorist attack. The SPLC states that the CofCC “has denounced Roof’s actions but stands by their statements, maintaining they mean what they say on their website.” The CofCC stated the terrorist “Roof outlines other grievances felt by many whites,” and continued “we utterly condemn Roof’s despicable killings, but they do not detract in the slightest from the legitimacy of some of the positions he has expressed. Ignoring legitimate grievances is dangerous.”
In R.E.A.L.’s activism to defy white supremacist groups, we learned that the CofCC leaders regularly worked together with their racist allies in the Stormfront organization, including CofCC members appearing on the Stormfront radio program to promote white supremacist events and to recruit for new members to the cause of racial and religious hatred. The Stormfront organization has combined the Nazi and Confederate extremists of white supremacy into a singular “supermarket of hate,” as described by CBS News. It’s members have regularly praised and supported other terrorists committing attacks on the United States, as we havedocumented.
Dylann Roof was also linked to the Nazi website, the Daily Stormer. This information has been reported by the SPLC, who identifies Roof as poster “AryanBlood1488.” The SPLC states that: “The Daily Stormer is a neo-Nazi website run by Andrew Anglin that both generates original content and aggregates articles from other white supremacist sites across the Internet. Its comment section is much less moderated than its peer sites and hosts a diverse community of white supremacists from across the extremist spectrum. In his alleged manifesto, Roof writes, ‘I mean that our culture has been adopted by everyone in the world. This makes us feel as though our culture isnt [sic] special or unique.’ In an almost verbatim statement at the Daily Stormer on January 31, 2015, ‘AryanBlood1488’ writes, ‘White culture is World Culture, and by that I don’t mean that our culture is made up of ones from around the world, I mean that our culture has been adopted by everyone in the world. This makes us feel as if it isn’t special, because everyone has adopted it.’ Notably, on another article titled ‘No Longer Posting Council of Conservative Citizens Articles’ published to the Daily Stormer on the same day, ‘AryanBlood1488’ expresses his reverence for the Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC), a white nationalist hate group, for ‘waking him up’ to ‘black on white crime.’ ‘I have serious, great respect for the CofCC because they are the ones who woke me up to black on white crime in the beginning,’ writes ‘AryanBlood1488.’ ‘It was the first site I went to the day that changed my life, the day I decided to type in ‘black on white crime’ into Google.’ ”
Raw Story also reported that “Roof also lived for a time in Lexington, just a few miles away, which is home to onetime Aryan Nation leader and Christian Identity pastor August Kreis – whose activity and influence has waned as a result of severe diabetes and his arrest last year on child sex abuse charges. An analysis of Roof’s writings suggests that he was an active participant in The Daily Stormer white nationalist message board.”

One Stormfront poster “14words_of_truth” repeatedly sought to defend the accused Arizona terrorist Jared Lee Loughner as “He went after a member of the government that he hates and wants to kill.” The same poster stated, regarding the accused terrorist murderer, that “He feels he has no Civil Rights. He is correct, and that is because of the Federal Government. Without an action, there is no reaction.”
News media have been reporting that accused Arizona terrorist Jared Lee Loughner stated in December 2010 on his (now gone) MySpace page that he sought to kill a police officer.

In 2010, R.E.A.L. challenged the “white nationalist” American Renaissance group and its activists’ and its group’s views on minority races, and urged them to reconsider their views. When they sought to hold an event here at our nation’s capital where R.E.A.L is HQ’d in 2010, I sought to have a counter-message to give an alternative view to their rejection of human diversity and the consistent studies and comments that seek to claim that people of minority races in the United States are inferior, among other views. When R.E.A.L. sought to have provide such a counter-message, American Renaissance speaker Craig Bodekerstated: “I’d be surprised if someone didn’t decide to correct your behavior :) ” and “when someone does declares war on us, it’s OK to fight back. With any and all means.”
The American Renaissance Group has chosen Charlotte to promote its “white nationalist” views because their supporters claim Charlotte offers a more “patriotically-inclined ambience.” Another “white nationalist” who promotes this event as well as former Ku Klux Klan David Duke, states that “to ensure security, the exact location of the conference venue will not be disclosed until 48 hours before the conference begins.”
Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) promotes human equality, dignity, respect, rights, and love for one another. We urge those who would promote racial hatred or disrespect to reconsider their actions.
R.E.A.L.’s position is the same as it was when we first approached American Renaissance as it is today.
We urge those with racial hatred in their hearts, to drop the burden of hate from their hearts.
Our message has consistently been not only to reject hate, but also to offer an alternative based on our universal human rights. To those who hate their fellow human beings, remember that our universal human rights are also your universal human rights. In Jared Taylor’s latest article, he states that Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) was one “of the groups that claimed responsibility for shutting down the AR conference.” As I have written and stated repeatedly, R.E.A.L.’s goal was to educate hotels and the public about the AR conference in February and we repeatedly asked for the opportunity to offer a counter-message to American Renaissance’s message of racism and hate, with our message of racial harmony and love. We sought to counter American Renaissance’s message attacking diversity, with our message showing the strength of our diversity in America itself.
Nor was there any “suppression” of American Renaissance’s right to assemble. They had every right to assemble as I did to reach out to the public on February 19. In fact, R.E.A.L. invited them to join us and the rest of the public at our Columbia Heights event in Washington DC right out in public view. American Renaissance and Jared Taylor chose not to show up, just like their supporters failed to show up, except for two frightened youths from Occidental Dissent (one hiding his face behind a black bandanna) that cowered at another street corner.
Despite this, Jared Taylor is calling for an investigation into who is responsible for the rejection of American Renaissance’s message of racial hatred. I can help him with such an investigation. In fact, R.E.A.L. did not “shut down” the AR conference, nor did any of the other “groups” that Jared Taylor blames.
I will reveal the “secret” to Jared Taylor here as to who is really responsible for hotels and the public rejecting the message of hate that the American Renaissance sought to promote:
— It was America itself.
America Needs No "Renaissance" from the Truths that we hold self evident - that All Men Are Created Equal...
This is the real adversary that Jared Taylor, American Renaissance, VDARE, and their supporters simply cannot tolerate. What those of who support “white nationalism” never grasp is that it was never “one person” or “one group” that rejected and protested against the message of racist hate from “American Renaissance.”
America itself has simply had enough of such racist hate in our nation.
America knows that it doesn’t need a “renaissance” from the truths that we hold self-evident — that All Men Are Created Equal — no matter what the American Renaissance group seeks to believe.
America wants no “renaissance” of “white nationalist” hate. America wants no “renaissance” of racism. America wants no “renaissance” that disparages blacks and Hispanics. America has grown up, and has lived through those dark days. America has no intention of going back to the “bad old days.”
Such support for human equality and rejection of racism is a fundamental part of the very declaration of what it means to be an American. This is what those who are blinded by racist hate cannot comprehend.
When I spoke to hotels, their very senior management, and public relations department, I spoke about the TRUTHS that we share – that all men and women are created equal – and that our diversity is a part of our acceptance of such truths. This is why most businesses have public diversity programs. Not because of pressure. But because it is the RIGHT thing to do. It is the AMERICAN thing to do.
So when R.E.A.L. and myself contacted senior decision makers on this issue, that is what we spoke about – the TRUTH. We never made any threats; we reject, condemn, and would help in prosecuting those who made any threats. It is not threats that drive business decisions, but it is businesses’ understanding and respecting ALL of their customers, and the American values that their customers have.
While I am disappointed that businesses did not offer R.E.A.L. an opportunity to have a counter-message event, they consistently rejected “white nationalist” racial hate.
These businesses did so EVEN WHEN IT COST THEM MONEY.
Their conscience was greater than their drive for profit.
Their commitment to all of their customers’ respect and human dignity was more valuable than racist money.
Yet you still don’t get it.
The very concept of America’s definition of its identity – inherent in our very national declaration escapes you. Americans already have a consensus on equality. Americans already have a consensus on racial hate. Americans already have a consensus on hate such as “white nationalism.”
We don’t need an army of “activists” to tell Americans what they already know.
And American businesses are ready to put their MONEY where their values are. Not once, not twice, not three times, and not even just four times. All different people, all different companies, all different races and backgrounds. And not all of them were corporate businesses… some were private businesses — with no shareholders, no corporate boards who would be embarrassed. But they had one thing in common — they were Americans who share the truths that we hold self-evident — that ALL men were created equal.
No they made their decision not because pressure by others, but guided by the compass of their conscience as Americans.
America and the businesses RUN by Americans REJECT racial hate and “white nationalist” hate. They stand tall, at their own expense, even being attacked, and when they don’t expect anyone to appreciate it – in SUPPORT of human equality, dignity, and diversity.
They Choose Love, Not Hate.

Jared Taylor quotes the Bible in the conclusion of his article, warning that those who defy “white nationalism” will “reap the whirlwind…”
While R.E.A.L. is a secular organization, we don’t believe that only “white nationalist hate groups” should be empowered to quote religious scriptures.
So our reply to you, Jared Taylor, is a quote from the same Bible that you quote:
John 13:34 “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”
The Columbia Heights district of Washington DC is a diverse area with white, black, Asian, Hispanic ethnicities. I chose the location for its very diversity, which groups like the American Renaissance seek to mock. Moreover, I made a point in speaking to people of color that I was standing in public as a white man showing that I recognized that defying white supremacism is the responsibility of white Americans too. One passerby said with a smile, “about time someone understands that!”
February 19 - R.E.A.L.'s Jeffrey Imm Speaks at Columbia Heights After Cancellation of "American Renaissance" Event
Given the repeated threats against protesters by members of Stormfront and other “white nationalist” groups, I asked some supporters to hold back from this event which was not a rally, but merely a public awareness event to hand out fliers about the continuing challenge to the DC metropolitan area by “white nationalist” “hate groups” such as American Renaissance, VDARE, Occidental Dissent, and Stormfront. I updated the public about the recent cancellation of the “American Renaissance” event, and also informed of the efforts of such groups to continue to seek to spread hate in the DC area.
A number of people thanked me for coming out to speak today. As always, it was my pleasure, and as always, it was another good day to be Responsible for Equality And Liberty.

I asked them what they were afraid of. They could see that I had no “gang of thugs” or “mob ready to shout them down.”
They still were so ashamed to appear in public, that one of them, “Hunter Wallace” had to hide his face with a black bandanna scarf and hat. They sought to videotape my outreach to the DC public. One man took a flier and wrote on “Hate Get Out” and showed it to them. “Hunter Wallace” was joined by “Pip Pockets” who made catcalls and giggled. I pity their fear and hate, and they should know that our rejection of their ideology is not a rejection of them as human beings. We urge them to drop the hate from their hearts, and Choose Love, Not Hate.
I asked them where American Renaissance’s Jared Taylor was, but they had no answer – just like they had no courage to debate us on their ideas. One meekly said he stood for “white power,” then promptly stopped talking.
My response was that myself and our supporters call, not for “white power,” but for “Human Power.”
Because it is that Human Power that stands up to hate, stands up to supremacism, stands up to totalitarianism, and gives strength to our shared consensus on our universal human rights. We believe that all men and women are created equal. That is never a question. That is a declaration of what it means to be an American, and it is declaration of the most fundamental aspect of our universal human rights.
It is such Human Power that allows even a single individual to defy the forces of hate. It is such Human Power that demonstrates that hate belongs in the past, and that our love for our fellow human beings and their universal human rights is the future.

The American Renaissance “white supremacist” “hate group” conference was canceled again on February 17. It had been scheduled to be held at the Capitol Skyline Hotel in Washington DC on February 20 and 21. American Renaissance’s Jared Taylor has stated this will be their “final” cancellation of their planned February 20 and 21, 2010 conference, which has been held bi-annually since 1994. The event had previously been canceled on February 15, and then it was rescheduled again on February 16 at a new venue, which was the Capitol Skyline Hotel.
Along with our public awareness efforts to help educate the DC public as to the identity of “New Century Foundation” as “American Renaissance,”R.E.A.L. had contacted the Capitol Skyline Hotel on February 1. When the American Renaissance event was rescheduled at the Capitol Skyline Hotel on February 16, R.E.A.L. talked with the local hotel manager and once again educated him on the identity of the group. In addition, we offered to provide an alternative counter-message that promotes diversity, equality, and love at the location. We also asked about the hotel’s commitment to diversity, which American Renaissance publicly stated that it sought to ridicule. The local hotel manager stated that he would not comment on these issues, indicating his only focus was on selling rooms.
As with other businesses, we have learned that meaningful discussions on community and public relations issues – the message of respect for human dignity that businesses extend to all of their patrons – requires getting the attention of those who have made a commitment and ownership in their businesses’ brand name. Therefore, R.E.A.L. contacted Rubell Hotels management regarding the planned event by American Renaissance at the Capitol Skyline hotel, as well as the previous “hate group” events held there on February 13 and November 7.
We have learned that many involved with senior management at numerous hotel chains are unaware of “hate group” events being held at individual hotels that they own or manage. For this reason, R.E.A.L. made every effort possible to contact the Rubell Hotels management as soon as we learned of the plans of the national American Renaissance “hate group” to hold their event at the Capitol Skyline. Later, we were informed by Rubell Hotels that the event was canceled. Once again, R.E.A.L. points out that our emphasis was to inform the management on the background of the planned conference, and to ask for an opportunity to provide a counter-message of diversity, hope, and love.
The Rubell Hotels is well-known for the involvement and activity by the Rubell family in its planning and community outreach. Furthermore, we know that leaders in the Rubell family have a commitment to human rights, our shared conscience, and remembering the Holocaust. In March 2009, Jennifer Rubell was an attendee at the Americas Business Council (ABC) Reconciliation forum in Washington DC. Through their internationally recognized art gallery, we know that the Rubell family is also committed very much to freedom of expression. Certainly, in issues simply regarding freedom of expression, such liberties would find no greater advocates than leaders in the Rubell family.
But as we stated in our article “hate, free speech, and American business,” freedom of speech in American businesses serving the public also requires the expectation of our shared trust that our human dignity will also be respected. Hate speech is not tolerated by American businesses by its employees against other employees. The American public also has an expectation from American businesses that hate speech against its other customers will also not be tolerated. Hate hurts all of us, including American businesses serving the public.
Some in the so-called “white nationalist” community which includes the “hate groups” American Renaissance, VDARE, Stormfront, Occidental Dissent, and others have opposed R.E.A.L.’s free speech to challenge “white nationalist” “hate.” We defend our right to free speech in rejecting hate, regardless of the threats against R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm. We recognize that such threats are often used to discourage and intimidate those who challenge ideologies of hate.
We respond, as we always have, with the verse from a famous folk song, “We are not afraid.”
Some have accused us of “lovemongering” to defend our human rights. Our human rights compass is based on our love for our fellow human beings. We reject all threats and hate against our fellow human beings, including threats against those who promote hatred. Those who are misguided by hate are also our fellow human beings. We seek to get those who hate to put such hate behind them, and rejoin us in the consensus of human rights and dignity in our family of humanity. Hate will never stop hate. Hate and threats of violence are always wrong. While we may reject the ideas or ideologies of certain groups, we must not reject them as our fellow human beings, no matter how reprehensible their ideas or actions may be. We must challenge hate with our love for our shared human rights of equality, liberty, and dignity. It is also our responsibility to Choose Love, not Hate.
If we are going to reach the undiscovered country of universal human rights for all, we must make hate our past, never our future.
Over the past year, R.E.A.L. has made it clear that we stand in support of both equality and liberty. That is the very name of our group, Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.). We don’t believe that we can be responsible for human equality and allow racial supremacism and racial hate to go unchallenged. We are an all-volunteer organization. Like such volunteer organizations, we have finite resources, and much as we might like, we cannot be everywhere and address every cause. But we have made every effort to address issues of national and even international impact on our fellow human beings. We are not simply a “hate-buster” group, but we offer an alternative of love and hope, based on our larger consensus on our shared universal human rights of equality, liberty, and dignity – for all.

R.E.A.L. exists to answer that question with the answer “because we must care.”
There is no threat against equality, liberty, and human dignity that affects just some of us – of one race, one gender, one ethnicity, one religion. A threat against our universal human rights of equality, liberty, and dignity is not just a threat against one of us – it is a threat against all of us. That is the consensus that we have that we must mobilize to action.
Certainly if a white American like R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm can’t stand up to the ideological threat of white supremacism, who can? Isn’t white supremacism a problem that white Americans are responsible to address? To white Americans, we tell you – this is your identity group, this is YOUR problem. Don’t look to just the victims of white supremacism for the solution. We are all part of the solution by being consistently responsible for our shared equality, liberty, and dignity. Hate hurts us all. Rejecting hate is our shared responsibility.
On April 4, 2009, we reached out to the American public at the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool steps, warning about the growing threat of racial supremacism. We stood there, remembering that same day when Martin Luther King, Jr. was murdered in 1968, and we prayed for all of us. We especially prayed for those who hate to lift the burden of hate from their hearts.
Two months later, our nation’s capital was under attack by a white supremacist terrorist James Von Brunn, who attacked the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on June 10, 2009, and murdered black security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns. Our message then was the same message as it is now – to choose love and reject hate. Other groups have a very different message. The next day, June 11, “white nationalist hate group” VDARE – located in the DC Northern Virginia suburbs, published an article using the attack to condemn plans for new hate crimes legislation. In VDARE Peter Brimelow’s article condemning hate crimes legislation “Holocaust Museum Hullaballoo Reveals ‘Hate Crimes’ Hypocrisy,” Brimelow described Von Brunn as “by all accounts an intelligent man.” R.E.A.L. protested VDARE’s event in McLean, Virginia ten days later, as well as VDARE’s event in Baltimore on Halloween.
Both in Washington DC and around the nation, there have been continuing efforts to promote violent white supremacist terrorism in America. The ideology of white supremacist hate has continued to grow, while too many in the media and in the public have felt either intimidated or unwilling to address such hate.
R.E.A.L. will continue to reject racism and hate. While we may not yet have enough volunteers to challenge it everywhere, we will certainly make every effort to challenge racial “white nationalist hate groups” in our nation’s capital of Washington DC. Groups described by human rights organizations as “white nationalist” or other “hate groups” in the Washington DC area such as American Renaissance, VDARE, and the “American Free Press/Spotlight” group, should know that our commitment to equality means that we will do everything we can to reject ideologies of hate from such groups. New groups that seek to expand a “white nationalist” presence in the Washington DC area, such as the Occidental Dissent, should know we will challenge ideologies of hate promoted here. To those who praise hate and violence on the Stormfront web site, they should know that their efforts to promote events that incite hatred here will not be unnoticed or unchallenged.
Like our businesses, our institutions survive based on trust. On June 10, 2009, Stephen Tyrone Johns died because he was holding the door open for white supremacist terrorist James Von Brunn. The white supremacist terrorist attack on the Washington DC U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum was not just an attack on a museum or an institution – it was an attack on our trust for one another. We are not going to let white supremacists wage a war on human trust in our nation or in our nation’s capital. Stephen Tyrone Johns may have been murdered in the white supremacist terrorist attack here in Washington D.C., but he will not die as just another forgotten victim, while the ideology of hate that inspired his death continues to grow unchallenged.
Just like America itself, America’s national capital will continue to reject ideologies of hate.

A week ago, R.E.A.L. had learned the location of the NCF/AR conference was to be scheduled at the Four Points by Sheraton Manassas Battlefield Hotel in Manassas, Virginia. R.E.A.L. had learned this from the national reservation desks of Starwood Hotels & Resorts that provides the corporate umbrella to Sheraton franchises. R.E.A.L. contacted the Four Points Sheraton management and also Starwood Hotels on this issue, to inform them about the New Century Foundation’s links to American Renaissance, as well as NCF/AR’s promotion of “white nationalist” “hate,” as repeatedly documented by human rights organizations. We urged Four Points to allow R.E.A.L. to offer a counter-message of hope and love to challenge the message from NCF/AR.
While the location of the NCF/AR event could have been learned by anyone else, R.E.A.L. made an effort to not promote or publicize this information to the general public, while R.E.A.L. talked to Four Points Sheraton and Starwood management. This morning, we were told by the Four Points Sheraton that the NCF/AR event was canceled at that location. Wehave since learned that at least one other organization also learned of the planned Four Points Sheraton location of the NCF/AF event, and that they informed the public about this on February 13.
We have also been told that American Renaissance’s Jared Taylor plans a news conference for later this week.
R.E.A.L. has had an ongoing regional public awareness campaign in place to educate the public and local hotels and conference centers as to who and what the New Century Foundation and American Renaissance are. We have contacted the Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association, the Hotel Association of Washington, D.C. (HAWDC), the HSMAI, the Maryland Hotel & Lodging Association, the Hilton hotel chain, the Marriott hotel chain, the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) hotel chain, the Hyatt hotel chain, the Crowne Plaza hotel chain, the Ritz-Carlton hotel chain, the Embassy Suites, the Wyndham hotel chain, and the Starwood Hotels & Resorts, among others. We have been actively conducting such a comprehensive regional public education campaign to area individuals and businesses, in the absence of mainstream media coverage on this issue.
It is our belief that this comprehensive public awareness campaign has limited the options for AR/NCF to mislead some businesses as to their identity and their intent. We will continue to oppose ideologies of hate through exercising our own freedom of speech. We believe and support freedom of assembly, and we have invited this group to debate us on a public street corner, and they have declined. Our goal in educating the public on the ideology of the AR has always been so that the American people can honestly and objectively assess for themselves what the AR conference is seeking to accomplish.
Moreover, Jeffrey Imm called Jared Taylor on the telephone to communicate this to him as well, and to once again invite him to join the public at our public awareness event on Friday, February 19 at 12 Noon, as all of the public is invited to this.
We urge our fellow human beings to Choose Love, Not Hate.
We support our unqualified, universal human rights for all. We urge white supremacist and “white nationalist” supporters to drop the burden of the hate of supremacism from their hearts, and to rejoin the family of humanity in support of our universal human rights.
Moreover, American Renaissance’s leader Jared Taylor has openly stated that the upcoming conference will mock diversity “It is the idea of 300 of us all in the same room, laughing openly at the idea that diversity is a strength, that is more than the hypocrites who run the country can stand.” We urge other area hotel leaders who might be reading this to be aware of who and what the American Renaissance / New Century Foundation is.

Both the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) have background on the racist and white supremacist views of American Renaissance leader Jared Taylor. The SPLC describes both the American Renaissance and the New Century Foundation groups as “white nationalist” “hate groups.” Jared Taylor promotes racial segregation, and as ADL states, “promotes pseudoscientific studies that attempt to demonstrate the intellectual and cultural superiority of whites and publishes articles on the supposed decline of American society because of integrationist social policies.”
Jared Taylor’s New Century Foundation describes itself as “a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1994 to study immigration and race relations so as to better understand the consequences of America’s increasing diversity. It sponsors publications and books, and holds occasional conferences.”
The Southern Poverty Law Center reports on the “New Century Foundation” and “American Renaissance” as follows:
— “Jared Taylor, the man who heads the New Century Foundation and edits its allied magazine American Renaissance, is a white supremacist who celebrates the “clear conception of the United States as a nation ruled by and for whites.” The foundation and magazine, based in Oakton, Va., tirelessly advance pseudo-scientific theories linking IQ to race and advocate eugenics — selective breeding to ‘improve’ human genetic stock.”
— “The foundation also puts on bi-annual conferences; the 2002 event was advertised like this: ‘In all parts of the world, whites are afraid to speak out in their own interests. The costs of ‘diversity,’ racial differences in IQ, the threat of non-white immigration — politicians and the media are afraid to discuss what these things mean for whites and their civilization.’ ”
— “Taylor also has noted approvingly that until 1967, ‘strong opposition to mixed marriage was enshrined in law’ in 16 states. In ‘The Myth of Diversity,’ Taylor writes that ‘diversity’ has led to civil rights claims by all kinds of groups he doesn’t like. “Anyone who opposes the glorification of the alien, the subnormal, and the inferior can be denounced,’ he complains. ‘The metastasis of diversity is a fascinating story, but the disease began with race.’ ”
— “After 300 pages of attacking blacks and dismissing white racism, Taylor’s 1992 book Paved With Good Intentions: The Failure of Race Relations in Contemporary America notes that most Americans would not agree to use sterilization or forced abortion on those whom the society considers less fit. His solution? Make ‘welfare mothers’ accept a ‘five-year implantable contraceptive.’ ”
— “Taylor is allied with Wayne Lutton, whom he thanks in his book and who is the editor of The Social Contract, a journal published by John Tanton’s The Social Contract Press*. Taylor, Lutton and Richard Lynn are on the editorial board of The Occidental Quarterly, a journal where Sam Francis, top editor for the racist Council of Conservative Citizens*, serves as book review editor. The Occidental Quarterly’s first issue featured a story by the late Keith Stimely, who was also an editor of the Journal of Historical Review, a notorious Holocaust denial publication.”
In addition to “white nationalist” Jared Taylor, other speakers scheduled to appear at the February 19-21 American Renaissance/New Century Foundation conference in Virginia include:
Craig Bodeker has written R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm complaining about R.E.A.L.’s informing Washington DC area hotels about the ideological basis behind the planned “white nationalist” American Renaissance group conference, which hotels have been unaware of as the group has been using their lesser known identity as “New Century Foundation.” We note that the studio managing Craig Bodeker’s film efforts is “New Century Productions LLC.”
Craig Bodeker started the discussion by emailing R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm from Craig Bodeker’s Facebook web page.
In Craig Bodeker’s emails, he claims that R.E.A.L.’s efforts by Jeffrey Imm to educate the DC area on American Renaissance’s “white nationalist” ideology has constituted a “war against white people,” claiming that Jeffrey Imm’s public awareness efforts are “anti-white hatred and bias,” ignoring that Jeffrey Imm is himself a white American.
Craig Bodeker vaguely threatens R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm that:
— ” I’d be surprised if someone didn’t decide to correct your behavior :) ”
— “when someone does declares war on us, it’s OK to fight back. With any and all means”
We are not afraid.
Craig Bodeker also denounces humanity’s universal human rights, referring to them as “the bullsh*t rights that you claim are ‘universal.’ ”

In the email discussions, R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm conveys his concern to Craig Bodeker about American Renaissance’s long history of comments and commentary belittling black Americans, and expresses concern about American Renaissance’s heavy promotion by the Nazi white supremacist Stormfront organization whose members have been linked to terrorism, murder, and have recently praised the terrorist who attacked the DC Holocaust Memorial Museum as a “martyr.”
Jeffrey Imm tells Craig Bodeker that:
“we have no war with any race, religion, or identity group. We simply reject hate and promote love and our universal human rights. Those human rights include our right to protest and our free speech. We have not stifled anyone’s ‘rights to free-association.’ We have simply conveyed to businesses who the identity of the New Century Foundation is and what they stand for – something that both hotel chains told me NCF did not do. That is our right of free speech as well.”
Jeffrey Imm also tells Craig Bodeker that:
“I have no anti-white hatred or bias. Responsible for Equality And Liberty and myself both consistently reject hate. We object to the hate promoted by Von Brunn, we object to the hate promoted by Stormfront, we object to the hate promoted by VDARE, we object to the hate promoted by AR.”
“It is our freedom of speech to reject such hate, just like you too have freedom of speech. Our freedom of speech is not declaring war on any one or any race, certainly not my own race or a war on myself. Our goal is to reject hate. We urge others to Choose Love, Not Hate.”
In addition, R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm points that R.E.A.L.’s rejection of groups that promote separatist hate are not limited to “white nationalists,” but includes other extremist groups such as Hizb ut-Tahrir. R.E.A.L. rejects supremacist and separatist hate by any supremacist identity group.
Craig Bodeker claims that R.E.A.L. does not define supremacism, but R.E.A.L. certainly has done so many times. We object to supremacist ideologies that view that their identity group has an inherent superiority that denigrates others and that has an inherent political superiority over others. R.E.A.L. also objects to the hate from American Renaissance that belittles the innate intelligence of black Americans and other non-whites, and that blames non-whites for all crime and ills of the world. Such hate is obvious and clear to anyone, except those that seek to legitimize their hate. We reject such hate, and we call for the promotion of racial harmony, respect, and peace.
R.E.A.L.’s rejection of those organizations and ideologies that promote supremacist hate is never a rejection of our fellow human beings. We know that there are no perfect people, and such imperfection is an inherent part of our very humanity. R.E.A.L. urges those who hate is to abandon hate, and choose love. R.E.A.L. does not offer an upraised fist, but offers an outstretched hand to our fellow human beings in defending all of humanity’s universal human rights.
