The terrorist group ISIS is seeking to expand its terrorist influence within Afghanistan, and seeks to terrorize both Afghanistan citizens loyal to the Afghan government or to the rival Taliban terrorist group inside the country.
The ISIS terrorist group recently released a video where it murdered ten blindfolded men, which it called “apostates.” The ISIS terrorist murderers killed by forcing them to kneel over buried explosive devices until they detonated.
The ISIS victims were believed to be from the Shinwari tribe. Some were reportedly accused of aiding the Taliban in the Afghan province of Nangarhar, where ISIS was recently expelled. In addition, the Daily Mail reports that “several of the other victims were also condemned to death for helping the Afghan government counter the longstanding insurgency in the troubled country.”
ISIS seeks to promote such depraved images of their twisted acts of terrorism, as they believe it demonstrates their power. For people of conscience, these continuing monstrous acts by ISIS only demonstrate the depths of their depravity and inability to respect the human rights of Muslims or any human being. This demonstrates how completely they reject any religion of peace.
