Christian Supremacism – Arizona Hate Pastor Draws Protesters Outside Church Due to Hate Speech and Calls for Death
— Christian Post reports: “Protesters at the so-called ‘Love Rally’ denounced Pastor Steven L. Anderson’s sermon — which called on parishioners to pray for the president’s death — as hate speech.”
— “‘It’s hard to believe we could have someone of a religious nature wishing our president was dead,’ said protester William Crumb to KNXV-TV in Phoenix.”
— “Another protester, Larry Crane, said, ‘I’m just disgusted with this man who claims to be a minister of the Lord preaching hate toward the president.'”
— “Last month, Anderson, 27, told the members of the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Ariz., that he prays the president would die soon.”
— “‘Let his children be fatherless and his wife a widow,’ Anderson said in the sermon, available on YouTube. ‘Let his children be continually vagabonds and beg.'”
— “Despite adverse reactions from the public, the controversial pastor again repeated his message Sunday outside his church.”
— “‘I hope it happens today, not when he (the president) gets older,’ said a defiant Anderson, according to NBC affiliate 12 News. ‘I hope he dies of brain cancer today.'”
— “Anderson said he received a phone call from the U.S. Secret Service in August. The Secret Service said it was following up on Anderson’s comments.”

Regarding 9/11 FSA
Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) was invited to join an HRCARI event in NYC on 9/11 to remember those who have been killed by Islamic supremacists. We decided not to attend when we learned that one of the organizations that was going to be at this event is the “9/11 Families for a Secure America” (9/11 FSA) led by Mr. Peter Gadiel.
We are sad to learn that Peter Gadiel writes for and has defended the racist hate group VDARE, stating that its focus is on immigration. R.E.A.L. has protested VDARE in the past and we know better. R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm has received an email from Peter Gadiel stating that he is not a racist. But in the same email to Jeffrey Imm, Mr. Gadiel has also defended VDARE and rationalized VDARE’s promotion of “white nationalist” Jared Taylor (who leads another hate group “American Renaissance” whose past meetings have included David Duke) as equivalent to the promoting the NAACP.
While we extend our sympathies with Mr. Gadiel over his loss on 9/11, we reject the idea that association with groups with a history of hate will ever be productive in gaining security for America. The 9/11 attacks were based on hate. Two wrongs don’t make a right. We urge Mr. Gadiel to rethink his defense of VDARE and his promotion of VDARE on the 9/11 FSA website.
The 9/11 FSA group is no longer listed as a HRCARI partner organization on the HRCARI web site. The HRCARI mission statement indicates that it “will not ever support any form of supremacism.”
R.E.A.L. will be also leaving the HRCARI coalition. We need to focus our limited resources on ensuring the effectiveness of our own organization and membership.
R.E.A.L.’s leadership apologizes for not having discovered this sooner, and promises that we will be more cautious in joining coalition organizations in the future.
Iran: Report on Anti-Democracy Imam on Iranian Prison Rapes
Unconfirmed reports by INN state that “Iranian pro-democracy sources” have alleged that Ayatollah Mesbah-Yazdi has been speaking publicly on the issue of prison rape
— INN reports that Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Mesbah-Yazdi spoke to crowd on prison rape “in Jamkaran, a popular pilgrimage site for Shi’ite Muslims on the outskirts of Qom, on August 11, 2009”
— INN reports that this is “[a]ccording to Iranian pro-democracy sources, the gathered crowd heard from Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Mesbah-Yazdi and Ahmadinejad himself regarding the issue”
— “Mesbah-Yazdi is considered Ahmadinejad’s personal spiritual guide”
— According to INN report, Mesbah-Yazdi is quoted as stating: “The necessary precaution is for the interrogator to perform a ritual washing first and say prayers while raping the prisoner. If the prisoner is female, it is permissible to rape through the vagina or anus.”
— According to INN report, Mesbah-Yazdi is quoted as stating: “If the judgment for the [female] prisoner is execution, then rape before execution brings the interrogator a spiritual reward equivalent to making the mandated Haj pilgrimage [to Mecca], but if there is no execution decreed, then the reward would be equivalent to making a pilgrimage to [the Shi’ite holy city of] Karbala.”
— According to INN report, Mesbah-Yazdi is quoted as stating: “The child borne to any weakling [a denigrating term for women – ed.] who is against the Supreme Leader is considered illegitimate, be it a result of rape by her interrogator or through intercourse with her husband, according to the written word in the Koran.”

— “The victim and her daughter were dressed in an abaya, a traditional Muslim garment that completely covered their bodies and face, except for their eyes.”
— “The report said Ballance then started driving a 1999 green Mercury toward the victim. Det. Sgt. Robert Reecks, who heads the Suffolk County Police Department’s Hate Crimes unit, said the man drove the car in reverse but didn’t get close enough to the victim to be charged with attempted assault.”
— “In the victim’s statement, she said a white male came up behind them yelling, ‘Take that stuff off. What do you think it is, Halloween?’ The man followed them into the store, continuing to yell.”
— “The woman said the man then drove his car so close to hers that she couldn’t open the gas cap and he ‘kept striking a match on a matchbook like if I was to start pumping the gas he would threw the match at me,’ according to the statement.”
— “In a statement signed by Ballance, he said that while he was at the station, ‘two people dressed for Halloween looking like the wicked witch,’ pulled in.”
