Virginia: Nazi Bill White Sentenced to Prison for Threats

Nazi William A. (“Bill”) White was the leader of a Nazi, white supremacist web site called “overthrow.com.”  White supremacists and Nazi supporters have had mixed reactions to Bill White.  At the Stormfront white nationalist hate group,” the mixed reaction showed that some distrusted Bill White as a someone who was a former “anti-racist,” and is believed to be a federal informer, while others promoted Bill White’s articles.

Media reports on Bill White’s sentencing:
— Roanoke Times reports: “Neo-Nazi is handed 2.5 years for threats”
— William A. White senteneced to 2 1/2 years in prison “for using the Internet, e-mail and the telephone to threaten strangers who didn’t share his racist views”
— Roanake Times states: “It was an uncharacteristic finale for a prolific and venomous commentator who once bragged that millions read him on overthrow.com, the now-defunct Web site that was the mouthpiece of his Roanoke-based white supremacy organization.”
— “The prison term locks away White, 32, for a period at the upper end of federal sentencing guidelines. Turk said he rarely imposes such a term but said he did so because of the fear White instilled in many of his victims.”

— UPI: Neo-Nazi sentenced for threats
— UPI reports: “White was convicted in December of threatening people in Missouri, Delaware and Virginia Beach, using his Web site, e-mail and telephone to harass and threaten his victims — strangers to him and to one another — who unknowingly said or did something to anger the neo-Nazi activist, the Times reported.”

UK: White Supremacist Nazis Accused of Terror Plot — Father and Son Team of Ian and Nicky Davison

UK media are reporting about a white supremacist, Neo-Nazi teenager Nicky Davison, being charged with plotting terrorism along with his father Ian Davison.

Police Oracle: “Milkman Accused Of Terrorism”
—  Police Oracle:
“White supremacist father and son plotted terror attacks, court hears. Nicky Davison, 19, joined his father in the creation of Aryan Strike Force, a website demonstrating an apparent obsession with Zionist domination, a jury at Newcastle crown court was told. Computers seized in a police raid on a house in Annfield Plain, County Durham, last year yielded data showing that “ops” involving bombs were in the early stage of planning.”
— “Ian Davison has already pleaded guilty to preparing for acts of terrorism and producing a chemical weapon, using homemade ricin. The poison extracted from castor beans is deadly and has been at the centre of several terrorism scares.”
— “Nicky Davison denies three charges of possessing material useful to a terrorist while helping to run the Aryan Strike Force website. The jury was told that the group had been established in January 2008 and at the time of the police raid last June was ‘in the early stages of becoming active'”
— “The website was not merely a propaganda vehicle for supporters, who also called themselves the Wolfpack and Legion 88. It showed interest in “violence in different forms to advance the aims of white supremacy in these islands”.
— “Shortly before the raid, Nicky Davison had posted messages on the site saying he was ‘concerned about the risk of detection and arrest”. His on-screen name, Thorburn1488, was an obscure code relating to the work of an American white supremacist and shorthand for ‘Heil Hitler'”
— Prosecutor Andrew Elis: “They wanted to resist what they called ZOG, which stood for Zionist-occupied government. They were fighting against the government because they believed it has been taken over by Jews, so it had to be resisted by those interested in white supremacy.”

— London Times: “Teenager in white supremacist group plotted to overthrow Government”
— “A teenage former milkman helped his father to run a white supremacist movement that plotted to overthrow the Government, a court was told yesterday.”
— “Police also discovered copies of The Anarchist’s Cookbook and the Mujahideen Explosives Handbook, along with several other digitalised manuals on a computer at the home Nicky Davison shared with his mother and younger brother in Co Durham.”
— “The teenager is accused of helping to maintain the Aryan Strike Force website, which declared its mission ‘to bring all national socialists, nationalists, racists and fascist together or people who consider themselves national socialists.'”

— “Shortly before the raid, Nicky Davison had posted messages on the site saying he was ‘concerned about the risk of detection and arrest’. His on-screen name, Thorburn1488, was an obscure code relating to the work of an American white supremacist and shorthand for ‘Heil Hitler'”
— “Davison and his father, Ian, 41, were not simply ‘keyboard warriors’, said Andrew Edis, prosecuting. “They made a distinction between people who were associated with the group they were forming – who were just supporters who might hand out leaflets – and members, who were to be of a different category, more interested in action,’ he said.”

Oregon: Anti-racist group argues shooting of Portland man was a neo-Nazi attack
— The Oregonian:
“Police investigating Saturday’s shooting of Luke V. Querner in downtown Portland will review reports from a group called Portland Anti-Racist Action, which argues that Querner, a self-described anti-racist skinhead, was the victim of an orchestrated attack by neo-Nazis.”
— “As police work to track down witnesses, news of the brazen shooting quickly spread across the nation to other anti-racist and civil rights groups.”
— “Eric Ward, national field director for the Chicago-based group Center for New Community, which monitors social movements that promote bigotry, said he was familiar with Querner’s grass-roots activism, anti-racist and anti-fascist politics in Oregon.”
— “Ward, who previously lived in Eugene and Seattle, said there’s been a decades long struggle between neo-Nazi skinheads and what are called anti-racist skinheads, who trace their origin to Britain in the late ’60s and emulated the culture of early Jamaican immigrants with heavy influences from Jamaican ska, rock and reggae artists. They’re also known as Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice, or SHARPs.”

Connecticut: Five Accused White Supremacists Indicted On Weapons Charges
— Hartford Courant reports:

— “Five members or associates of an alleged neo-Nazi, white supremacist group known as the Connecticut White Wolves have been indicted by a federal grand jury, accused of conspiring to sell guns and homemade hand grenades to what they thought was a similar group out of state.”
— “The group, also known as Battalion 14, is believed to have been formed in the southern part of the state within the past decade by a collection of young, self-professed “skinheads.” More recently, the group has attracted the attention of civil rights groups because of its recruiting efforts and its involvement in disruptive and violent acts.”
Anti-Defamation League reports on “Connecticut White Wolves”
— “Members, though typically young, have been involved in a number of criminal acts in Connecticut and have forged ties with nationally recognized hate groups, including the National Alliance, the Creativity Movement, White Revolution and the Ku Klux Klan.”
— “Like other established hate groups, the White Wolves promote their hateful ideology through leafleting — neighborhoods with white supremacist propaganda.”
— “Although based in Connecticut, the White Wolves have not limited their activities to that state. From the group’s inception (ostensibly on April 20, Adolf Hitler’s birthday), members have sought to expand the group’s influence and attract new members outside of Connecticut by traveling to other parts of the country and reaching out to established hate groups. In August 2002, the White Wolves attended a rally in Washington, D.C., to protest U.S. support for Israel that was sponsored by the neo-Nazi National Alliance. ”

— “African-American families in the 4800 block of Dexter Road said they found the plastic eggs tossed in their yard with hateful messages inside.”
— “Some of the messages included the ‘N’ word and references to the Aryan Nation. Shamir Lyles said she watched a girlfriend’s son open one of the eggs.”
— “‘He was shocked. He didn’t know what it was, he thought it was the Easter bunny,’ she said. ‘I was really shocked. I mean, you know the feelings are out there and the thought are there, but to just be openly displayed like this … I was really kind of shocked this happened in our area.'”

WJBK Detroit report:
— “Messages of Hate Found in Easter Eggs”

— “Colorful, plastic Easter eggs are known to hold sweet treats, but what some people found inside some of those eggs has them terribly disturbed. Vile messages of racism and hate were printed on a flier stuffed into the eggs. They were distributed in neighborhoods in Auburn Hills.
— “‘The Aryan Nations is a group that is claiming that’s who is distributing the information, but we’re not exactly sure who went out and passed it out,’ said Auburn Hills Police Lt. James Manning. ‘There are… as far as we can find at this point, no local groups that are claiming responsibility.'”
— “The eggs were first spotted in a neighborhood near Walton and Dexter.”
— “‘The area that was covered was primarily one neighborhood, but there’s no indication that any one family or individual was targeted,’ Manning said.”
— “Neighbors reject the message and messengers of hate.”
— “Another neighborhood was hit with the eggs. Police are investigating a Web site linked to the hate fliers, and the distributors remain elusive.”
— “Anyone with information is asked to call the Auburn Hills Police Department at 248-370-9448. ”
