Oklahoma City, OK – 20 years ago. NEVER FORGET.

Oklahoma City, OK – 20 years ago. NEVER FORGET.  April 19, 1995.

20 years ago – the monstrous attack on Oklahoma City’s Alfred P. Murrah building, by neo-Nazi supporting terrorist Timothy McVeigh. On April 19, 1995, terrorists Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, the terrorist bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah building killed 168 people and injured more than 680 others. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 buildings within a 16-block radius, destroyed or burned 86 cars, and shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings

We must continue to stand for the universal human rights of our fellow human beings against Nazis and other criminals who seek the destruction of their lives. The terrorist’s inspiration in the Neo-Nazi “The Turner Diaries,” symbolized his commitment to racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-gay violence, as has the racist hate group organization so-called “Christian Identity” hate group in the area. Over the years, R.E.A.L. has challenged the “Christian Identity” hate group and such hate groups, and we have been threatened. But their threats only seek to silence the truth, and R.E.A.L. has no intention to be silent. We will remain responsible for equality and liberty.

Timothy McVeigh’s Terrorist Attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Building

We will NOT FORGET Nazi supporting terrorist Timothy McVeigh’s attack on humanity and on our children bombing the Alfred P Murrah federal building and the daycare center inside – NYT, 1995: “Of the 21 children who were inside the day-care center on the morning of April 19, the morning of the bombing, 15 are dead, including all four of the infants by the window. Five are hospitalized, burned and broken. Only one returned home, a little girl with a broken leg. All three teachers in the center were also killed.”

Why do we reject hate? Why do we challenge terrorism?

We give this answer. Oklahoma City. Our children. Our universal human rights.

Remember.

Kansas City: Nazi Terrorist Murders 3 in Attack on Jewish Community Center

On April 13, 2014, a Nazi / Confederate white supremacist terrorist killed three Christians in Kansas City suburb of Overland Park, Kansas, including a 14 year old boy, Reat Griffin Underwood, his grandfather Dr. William Lewis Corporon, and another woman Terri LeManno. The terrorist attack was made against the Jewish Community Center (JCC) and area retirement community in Overland Park.

Shootings occurred both outside the Jewish Community Center and outside a retirement home, Village Shalom, nearby, both located in Overland Park, Kansas. The victims of the Jewish Community Center shooting were identified as Dr. William Lewis Corporon and his grandson, 14-year-old Reat Griffin Underwood. Both were United Methodist Christians. A 53-year-old woman, Terri LaManno, of Kansas City was killed at the parking lot of Village Shalom, where her mother resides. LaManno was also a Christian who attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Several others had been shot at, including one person who was Jewish, but escaped without wounds. Miller was found later outside an elementary school nearby and was immediately declared a suspect. Authorities told reporters that Miller had shouted “Heil Hitler” numerous times during shooting and arrest.

The terrorist murdered a 14-year old boy Reat Griffin Underwood and his grandfather Dr. William Lewis Corporon  in the parking lot in front of the Overland Park JCC.  They were shot in the center’s parking lot in the truck his grandfather was driving.  CNN reported that “the 14-year-old high school freshman was dressed up in a coat, tie and hat on Sunday — ready to belt out songs for an audition that he hoped would win him a scholarship.  Tryouts for KC Superstar, an “American Idol”-style contest for the best high school singer in the Kansas City area, brought him to the Jewish Community Center.”  This boy’s only goal was to sing, but the terrorist silenced his voice forever. You can watch as this child sang the Star Spangled Banner of America, singing of the “Home of the Brave.”

The terrorist murdered  Terri LaManno, while she was visiting to help care for her elderly mother in Kansas City.  Terri was an occupational therapist at Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI) for eight years. She was visiting her elderly mother at the Village Shalom as she did every Sunday. She left behind three children, after her murder by the Kansas City Nazi / Confederate white supremacist terrorist shouted “Heil Hitler,” after he was arrested.

The Nazi Terrorist, Frazier Glenn Cross, also known as Frazier Glenn Miller, from Springfield, Missouri was a former leader in the Ku Klux Klan. Miller’s introduction to white racialist politics was a copy of The Thunderbolt, published by Dr. Edward Fields of the National States’ Rights Party, and given to him by his father. Miller was present as a member the National Socialist Party of America during the Greensboro massacre on November 3, 1979.

SPLC provides this update on his criminal background: “Frazier Glenn Miller, also known as Frazier Glenn Cross, is the former “grand dragon” of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, which he founded and ran in the 1980s before being sued by the Southern Poverty Law Center for operating an illegal paramilitary organization and using intimidation tactics against African Americans. After subsequently forming another Klan group, the White Patriot Party, he was found in criminal contempt and sentenced to six months in prison for violating the court settlement. He went underground while his conviction was under appeal but was caught by the FBI with a weapons cache in Missouri. He served three years in federal prison after being indicted on weapons charges and for plotting robberies and the assassination of SPLC founder Morris Dees. As part of a plea bargain, testified against other Klan leaders in a 1988 sedition trial. On April 13, 2014, Miller was arrested in the shooting deaths of three people at a Jewish community center and nearby retirement community in Overland Park, Kansas. In 1986, Miller was convicted on a federal contempt of court charge after violating the terms of a consent order that settled a lawsuit filed against him and his Klan group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. He was sentenced to a year in prison, with six months suspended. However, he disappeared while out on bond awaiting an appeal and was later caught in Missouri along with four other Klansmen and a cache of weapons. In 1987, he pleaded guilty to a weapons charge and to mailing a threat through the mail. He had been indicted along with four other white supremacists for conspiring to acquire stolen military weapons, and for planning robberies and the assassination of SPLC founder Morris Dees. In an agreement with federal prosecutors, he received a five-year prison sentence in exchange for his testimony against 14 white supremacist leaders in a sedition trial. He served three years of that sentence.”

ADDITIONAL SPLC UPDATE AND LINKS TO NAZI AND WHITE SUPREMACIST NETWORKS

SPLC also reported that

Frazier Glenn Miller, 73, of Aurora, Mo., was arrested today for the murder of three people at two separate Jewish Community Centers in Overland Park, Kan. Miller, who was arrested using the alias Frazier Glenn Cross, has been in the movement nearly his entire life. Miller is the former “grand dragon” of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, which he founded and ran in the 1980s before being sued by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for operating an illegal paramilitary organization and using intimidation tactics against African Americans.

As part of a plea bargain, Miller testified against other Klan leaders in a 1988 sedition trial.

Miller is a raging anti-Semite who has posted more than 12,000 times on Vanguard News Network (VNN), whose slogan is “No Jews, Just Right.” VNN founder Alex Linder has openly advocated “exterminating” Jews since December 2009. Miller, a close partner to Linder, has called Jews “swarthy, hairy, bow-legged, beady-eyed, parasitic midgets.” Miller is also one of VNN’s largest donors and he printed and distributed thousands of copies of VNN’s newsletter, The Aryan Alternative.

Another more detailed overview of the Frazier Glenn Miller / Cross is available on the SPLC site.

TRIAL UPDATE

On October 17, 2014, the separate charge for first-degree murder was dismissed and all three deaths were included in a single capital murder count. Miller also is charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder for allegedly shooting at three other people. On December 18, 2014, he was found competent to stand trial, and prosecutors announced they are seeking the death penalty against him. He is also facing a potential federal hate-crimes prosecution.

AUGUST 4, 2015 REPORT OF RECORDINGS

On August 4, 2015 , SPLC provided a report on recordings by the terrorist admitting to the murders.

Audio recordings posted to Vanguard News Network highlight Frazier Glenn Miller’s angry confession. Two audio files of phone calls taped in October 2014 between Frazier Glenn Miller and neo-Nazi National Alliance member Kevin Alfred Strom were posted to the hate forum Vanguard News Network.  In the audio, posted yesterday, Miller claims to be afraid he will be gagged and barred from taking credit for the murder of three individuals during a shooting spree at Jewish Community Centers in Overland Park, Kan., on April 13, 2014. Miller is facing the death penalty for the shooting. Miller says unequivocally on the first recording, “I confess” to the shootings. “Why did I do it? Because my conscience compelled me to kill Jews…And I feel perfectly justified.” Miller speaks of having become “Jew-wise” in 1967 and wanting to kill Jews before he died. “My biggest fear is that I would die before I killed Jews,” he said.  In the two phone calls, Miller explains that two weeks prior to the shootings he went to the emergency room ill with emphysema and that is “what spurred” him to engage in the shootings. He  details his surveillance of the two Jewish centers and the actions he took the day of the shootings. The audio is graphic, describing the murders in detail as well as why Miller chose not to shoot one person who said she was not Jewish. Miller, who killed three people who were not Jewish, including a young boy and his grandfather, also says he has no regrets about those he murdered. He blames the victims for having been at a Jewish institution and being “accomplices of the Jews … they are our enemies.” Miller adds that if whites are going to help Jews or interact with Jews, “They are going to have to face the consequences.” He also states that after the killings he had “never felt such exhilaration. It was overpowering.” The recordings were posted to VNN by the site’s owner, Alex Linder, also a committed anti-Semite. An email to Linder asking why he chose to post the audio went unanswered. Miller’s phone calls were arranged by Will Williams, the head of the neo-Nazi National Alliance and a longtime Miller defender. On the recordings, Kevin Strom, who serves as Williams’ main propagandist and blogger, comforts Miller, saying “may the burdens be lifted from your soul even further.” Strom also expresses some concern that the calls may violate his parole status and asks Miller to communicate directly with Williams about disseminating his confession. Strom was convicted of possession of child pornography in 2008 and remains on parole. Here are the two audio recordings for those who would like to listen. Please be forewarned that they are quite disturbing.  Recording 1  Recording 2

AUGUST 5, 2015 TRIAL REPORT

On August 5, 2015, KCUR News reported:

A Johnson County judge issued a stern warning Wednesday to the man accused of killing three people last spring at the Jewish Community Center and Village Shalom. “The jury needs to be able to consider evidence and not be able to tainted by your theatrics or outbursts,” Judge Thomas Kelly Ryan told Frazier Glenn Cross Jr. “There is a time and place for you to make your statements – within reason.” Cross, an avowed anti-Semite, immediately asked the judge to clarify when he’d be able to speak freely. “When you are under oath and subject to cross examination,” Ryan replied. But, Cross wanted to know, would he be able to say “sieg heil” and make a Nazi salute to the jury? Doing so earlier had gotten Cross ejected from the courtroom for a long recess. No, Ryan said. “Can I say ‘sieg heil’ before the jury comes in?” Cross pressed. “No, not at any time in this courtroom,” Ryan replied. Ryan wasn’t the only one Cross clashed with Thursday. He also yelled at a deputy sheriff and the head of his legal team. Cross is representing himself, but three death penalty experts are ready to jump in if needed.  That possibility seems increasingly likely, with Ryan warning Cross he’d be removed from the courtroom and forced to watch the proceedings on video if he couldn’t control himself. Also Wednesday, Ryan turned down a request for a change of venue and clarified jury selection procedures for the trial phase, set to begin Aug. 17. The man accused of killing three people last spring at the Jewish Community Center and Village Shalom continued his pattern of frequent outbursts in court Wednesday morning. It’s the final pre-trial conference for Frazier Glenn Cross Jr., an avowed anti-Semite who also uses the name Miller. Wheeled into the courtroom, he called, “sieg heil,” the salute of the Nazi party. Judge Thomas Kelly Ryan told Cross that type of behavior in front of a jury that could cause a mistrial. “It’s German for ‘hail victory,’” Cross insisted. “It’s ‘good morning.’ How is that derogatory?” “When you start arguing me when the jury is seated, you’ll cause a mistrial,” Ryan replied. “If that’s the case, it’ll go forward without you.” Cross again accused Ryan of being a Freemason and trying to curtail his freedom of speech. He began shouting that he earned his First Amendment rights while serving as a Green Beret in Vietnam. Ryan abruptly called for a recess. Jury selection will begin Aug. 17. More than 800 Johnson County residents are in the potential pool for a trial that could take up to six week

Stormfront White Supremacist’s Further Praise for Terrorist Wade Page

White supremacist Stormfront supporters continue to support and praise the August 5, 2012 terrorist killings by fellow Stormfront supporter Wade Michael Page.   The ongoing rants by white supremacists debating the Page’s terrorist killings, includes further praise by a Stormfront white supremacist who called the terrorist attack as “more like an act of homeland defense,” and praised the terrorist actions as “[a] native son shot some aliens who are destroying something precious and irreplaceable.”

Regarding Wade Page’s terrorist murders, the Stormfront supporter “wunndrin” states “This one was not ‘wanton’, it was directed. And I’m glad some of this mud rabble got a report back from the White people, for that’s how they’ll see it, because they KNOW whose country this really is.” The Stormfront supporter views the killings as preceding a “large ‘SHTF race war’ or reclamation of White homelands – maybe our only chance of salvation…”

Stormfront Admits to Selling “White Power” Shirt to Terrorist

The white supremacist Stormfront group admitted online on August 9, 2012 that its group was behind selling a shirt to white supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page that promotes “white pride world wide.”   Photos of Page in the shirt were previously published online.

Stormfront moderator and “chief of staff” “Jack Boot” stated in a August 9, 2012 posting on Stormfront that “I think I sold him that shirt, during our T-shirts fundraising phase.”  In terms of Wade Michael Page’s involvement in posting on Stormfront, “Jack Boot” also states “Almost certainly.”

White supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page killed 6 Sikhs in a terrorist attack on a Sikh temple on August 5, 2012.   This is one of a series of terrorist and murder activities from supporters of the Stormfront organization.

Stormfront provides an international web site to promote such white supremacist hatred not only within the United States, but also around the world.

After the August 5, 2012 murder of 6 Sikhs in Wisconsin by Stormfront supporter Wade Michael Page this same Stormfront moderator “Jack Boot” republished a post by a Stormfront supporter praising these terrorist killings, who described the murders as “finally a man who’s got some nerve… this is how points are made.”

August 5, 2012: Screen Capture of Stormfront "Hate Group" Supporters Praising Terrorist Attack in Wisconsin Against Sikh Temple -- Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) continues to challenge the views of discrimination and hatred by such Stormfront and other racial extremist, bigoted organizations, and we urge them to Choose Love, Not Hate - Love Wins.

As R.E.A.L. later posted, a number of other Stormfront supporters praised or supported violence against Sikhs, and the Stormfront organization leader Don Black openly told the press that “We think Sikhs belong back in India.”  This echoes the calls from other Stormfront supporters who seek to remove minority groups from the United States – one way or another.

Repeatedly, individuals linked to terrorism and murder in the United States of America have been identified as supporters of the white supremacist group Stormfront.   Stormfront supporter Daniel Cowart was convicted of a terrorist plot in 2010 to kill 88 African Americans and Barack Obama. Stormfront supporter Richard Poplawski murdered three police officers and wounded two others in 2009. Now Stormfront supporter Wade Michael Page murdered six Sikhs in their place of worship in 2012. (These are the recent attacks we know about.)

On a regular basis, we have found white supremacist supporters on Stormfront who have praised terrorist activity, and even called for additional violence, including calling for additional violence after the terrorist attack this week on Sikhs in America. Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) has documented and captured screen shots of these Stormfront supporters’ open calls for terrorism and violence. We have documented praise of James Von Brunn whose June 2009 terrorist attack on the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC left an African American security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns murdered. We have documented praise for the terrorist efforts of John Patrick Bedell in March 2010 attacking police officers at the Pentagon. We have documented praise for Joseph Stack’s terrorist attack in February 2010 in Austin, Texas, flying a plane into an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) building and killing an African American military veteran Vernon Hunter. We have even documented some Stormfront supporters’ praise for the 9/11 attackers. In every case, it was consistently wrong, and consistently against our shared human rights.

Why Can’t America Recognize Racist Terrorism?

The weak response by too many in the American media, security organizations, and even some human rights groups to the terrorist attack by a white supremacist against a Wisconsin Sikh temple on August 5 is appalling, hypocritical, and disturbing.

We must consistently support the universal human rights, respect, and security for all people of all races and religions, including their freedom of religious worship, without fear of violence. Our unyielding position on this and our unending challenge to those who would defy this must be the same for everyone in America and around the world. Sikh lives are not cheap, and no one’s life is cheap in America or anywhere in the world. All of our fellow human beings’ lives matter and are precious.

The failure to understand and grasp white racial supremacist and other racist hatred as an anti-social force for destruction and violence by too many in America today is astounding, and this must change. Many of these racial supremacists view their race as their “religion,” and their goal is to remove (by whatever means necessary) those that would stand in the way of their perfect racial supremacist society.

I remain astounded by those who focus on this latest terrorist attack on the Sikhs as one by an individual with a former military background, with a drinking problem, or with relationship problems – and diminish the white supremacist racial hatred that drove Wade Michael Page to commit his terrorist act against Sikhs in America on August 5.

Terrorist Wade Michael Page pulled the trigger, but the ammunition of hatred was provided by organizations that promote such white supremacist ideologies. One of the largest such groups, Stormfront, provide an international web site to promote such white supremacist hatred not only within the United States, but also around the world.

All of them have been supporters of Stormfront and posters on Stormfront’s web site. Photographs of terrorist Wade Michael Page have been distributed wearing a shirt with the Stormfront “white pride world wide” logo. But there has been limited focus on the Stormfront organization and its supporters’ links to violence and terrorism.

White Supremacist Terrorist and Stormfront Poster/Supporter Wade Michael Page – Wearing Shirt with Stormfront “World Wide Pride” Logo – Wade Page Murdered Six Sikhs in a Wisconsin Temple on August 5, 2012

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) has documented and captured screen shots of these Stormfront supporters’ open calls for terrorism and violence. We have even documented some Stormfront supporters’ praise for the 9/11 attackers. In every case, it was consistently wrong, and consistently against our shared human rights.

But when the leader of Stormfront (and a former Ku Klux Klan wizard) Don Black tells the news media that Stormfront doesn’t “condone violence,” members of media shrug their shoulders, look no further, don’t ask questions about Stormfront supporters involved in terrorism and murder, and don’t ask any questions about these numerous reports. They simply publish what he says. Furthermore, when Stormfront leader Don Black tells the media that “We think Sikhs belong back in India,” there is no challenge to his comments by the media. Stormfront brushes the media aside and goes back to their promotion of white supremacist ideology on the Internet, in meetings, and on a daily public radio show on WBPR 1340 AM.

The ammunition of the white supremacist ideology of hate is used by those who commit white supremacist terrorism. We have seen this again in Wisconsin this week in America, and it must be a wake up call for Americans. We must the challenge the ideology of white supremacism, just like we challenge every other ideology that seeks to deny the human rights and dignity of our fellow human beings.

Too many Americans cannot recognize the terrorist threat of white supremacist racial hate. White supremacist racial hatred and its violent terrorism has roots in historical hate against non-white and other minority citizens, which remains a historical stain Americans must continue to work to challenge. When I was a boy, there were parts of America where businesses would only serve “White Clientele Only.” America has changed, but we must continue to challenge white supremacist hate. We continue to see those promoting and exploiting historical divisions in our nation. One of the other groups that white supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page was involved with was the Confederate Hammerskins group.

Racial extremist groups reject equal rights and dignity for all of our citizens. But we must be one nation, indivisible, with liberty, justice, and equality for all Americans – of every race and every identity group.

If we demand other nations to challenge their extremist ideologies and groups, we must also set the standard in challenging extremist ideologies and groups in our nation as well.

If these were extremist organizations with Muslims involved, let us be very candid, we would see a very different reaction by the media, security organizations, and others. If there was such a centralized organization here in the United States, which was holding a daily radio broadcast to promote such extremist views used by terrorists, there would be a hue and cry among the public, calls for challenging those promoting extremist views of hate, and a demand for accountability.

But when it comes to racist terrorism, too many shrug their shoulders. They ask “what can I do?” “Why should I be concerned?” “Isn’t this only a few individuals?” Will they be just as placid about this if the terrorist attack comes from extremists in another identity group? I think we all know the answer to this. We must not be hypocrites in our nation or around the world.

The argument that we should not “give attention” to people such as white supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page is overshadowed by the larger societal need to educate people in our society about the challenges of white supremacism and other racist views. Our society needs to continue to be educated as to the threats such groups represent to human rights and lives of our fellow Americans and our fellow human beings.

Others have told the media that we should not be concerned about the events of white supremacist group events recruiting others to spread hate, stating that these events are just for them “to get together, drink Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, fight, listen to music, that sort of stuff.” But we have seen first-hand their efforts to make new recruits to their army of white supremacism to spread the disease of this hate throughout our nation. We must acknowledge and challenge the threat of white supremacist hatred.

Most disturbingly, many have written about how they STRUGGLED to imagine what the possible MOTIVATION would be for a white supremacist terrorist to kill people predominantly of a different ethnic group. Today, the Associated Press published an article, reporting comments from law enforcement that we might never “know” the motivation of white supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page to kill people who look different, have a different religion, or those who have different skin color.   We have heard this repeatedly by too many.  They can’t possibly imagine why this white supremacist thinks this way. Certainly, this naive attitude has some positive aspects in that the view of race as a rationale for violence has grown even more nonsensical than it once was.

But our defense of law and order, consistent human rights, and equal rights for people of all races, religions, sex, ethnicity, national origin, and other identify groups – cannot simply be built on naivety and ignorance of the challenges we continue to face in our society and our world.

We honor innocence, but to be fully responsible for equality and liberty we also need some understanding of world we live in, so that we can continue to grow and build as a society.

Every day at 9 AM, the leaders of Stormfront will go on the West Palm Beach WBPR radio station 1340 AM to promote their views and spread their ideology of white supremacism. The radio station appreciates Stormfront’s business and welcomes the listeners. Our freedom of speech allows Stormfront leaders to spread their message of white supremacist hatred.

By let us not forget that our freedom of speech also empowers us as well. We too have a right and a RESPONSIBILITY to speak out, educate others, and challenge those promoting the ideologies that reject such universal human rights, dignity, and safety for our fellow human beings.

While there may not be a challenge from the media, those promoting hate must know they will be challenged by those of us Responsible for Equality And Liberty – for everyone, around the world.

One final personal note to my Christian brothers and sisters, it is a deep shame that some in these white supremacist groups, such as Stormfront, use a Celtic cross in their campaigns. While some non-Christians have sought to redefine the Celtic cross, any Christian symbol, words, or trappings used to reject equality, dignity, and safety for our fellow human beings, is also a rejection of Christianity as well.  In America, we have seen those that promote racial hatred continue to use such symbols, as well as promotion on Stormfront by those racist groups holding “cross burnings” (what they call “cross lighting”) in our nation.  I  urge Christians in America and around the world to not let the cross and symbols of Christianity be used to promote racial or other hatred by those who would spread lies about the Christian faith.  I urge Christians in America and around the world to challenge those who would use such Christian symbols to denigrate and demean others, and I urge them to use their Christian lives to demonstrate their commitment to respect, humility, and love for one another.

Choose Love, Not Hate. Love Wins.

White Supremacist Terrorist Organized Richmond, VA Hate Group Concert in March 2012

Wade Michael Page, the terrorist killer behind the mass murder attack on a Sikh temple on August 4, 2012, was also one of the organizing coordinators of a white supremacist hate group concert in Richmond, Virginia on March 17, 2012.   Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) has investigated his white supremacist associations, and we have identified national and international contacts who have been involved with this white supremacist terrorists.  On behalf of the safety of our fellow human beings, we are making the information in this investigation public, so that our public understands the importance of continuing to challenge ideologies of hate and violence in America or anywhere in the world – that would deny our Universal Human Rights of freedom, dignity, life, and safety to innocent individuals.

(Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) regrets the disturbing images and content from the terrorist Wade Page and other white supremacist web sites.  We find the images revolting and disturbing, but we believe the public safety is served by being aware of the magnitude of the white supremacist terrorist threat.)

The March 17, 2012 Richmond, VA concert organized by terrorist Wade Michael Page featured one of his bands, called “Definite Hate,” as well as other white supremacist musical bands including “Open Season Australia” (Australia), “Chaos 88” (New Jersey), Landsknecht (Germany),  “FucFace88”  (Florida).  Terrorist Wade Michael Page stated that his “Definite Hate” band was based out of North Carolina;  Wade Page had previously been stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, while in the U.S. Army.

The terrorist Wade Page assisted a white supremacist group, called the Confederate Hammerskins (CHS), in organizing the event. Most of the information regarding the CHS events are maintained behind a wall of secrecy to their members. But a web cache of certain files led to discovery of communications and context on how the Confederate Hammerskins and their associated white supremacists organized such white supremacist hate concerts. (We have captured these in a PDF file.)   The CHS logo as shown in the image below, is seen in other concerts promoted by terrorist Wade Page.

The background on the CHS event organization shows that the flier promoting the event was created by someone with the screen name “End Apathy,” undoubtedly himself;  “End Apathy” was the other band that Wade Michael Page led.   “End Apathy” used Internet tool “Photo Bucket” to control and distribute the final event brochure, and the CHS communications show how this was approach was used to ensure secrecy of white supremacist concert planning.   “End Apathy” distributed their first flier for the Richmond, VA concert on October 7, 2011.

Terrorist Wade Page continued to maintain the PhotoBucket web site, but deleted all images except for a similar concert with CHS in August 7, 2010 in North Carolina – the same CHS logo is visible in the upper left hand of that concert, which featured both of the terrorist Page’s hate bands “Definite Hate” and “End Apathy,” as well as a group called “13 Knots”.   The event was also promoted by the white supremacist Label 56 group.

The white supremacist Confederate Hammerskins (CHS) group has chapters in Texas, the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Tennessee, as well as an international presence in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, France, Hungary, and Switzerland.  The white supremacist network that Terrorist Wade Page had access to was an international network. The ADL has reported that the Hammerskin group was founded in Dallas, Texas in the 1980s.

On its website, the CHS states on their web site that a “founding member of CHS was jailed for aggravated assault and a Federal Grand Jury was convened to investigate the actions of skinheads in the Dallas area,” which has led the CHS white supremacists to view that they are oppressed by an “anti-white justice system.”

During January 2012, CHS and event organizers received concerns about finding hotel rooms in Richmond that we be acceptable to the white supremacist sensitivities.  Specifically, multiple white supremacist used the CHS secret “Forum 38” posts to ask for the organizers to find rooms that would not be in “middle N***erville” (racial slur).

For the March 17, 2012 Richmond, VA concert, interested attendees used secret “Forum 38” managed by the CHS to exchange messages.   The concert was held in Richmond, VA near Willis Road in Richmond. By March 12, 2012, the CHS white supremacist organization was advising white supremacist concert attendees to use one of three “nearby” hotels in Richmond:
— VIP Inn, 2301 Willis Road, Richmond, VA 23237
— Country Inn & Suites, 2401 Willis Road, Richmond, VA 23237
— Americas Best Value Inn, 2126 Willis Road, Richmond, VA 23237

The final instructions to CHS concert attendees went out via PhotoBucket from the “EndApathy” account (name of terrorist Wade Page’s other band) also on March 12, 2012.

During the CHS communications, it was clear that the white supremacist attendees attracted to this concert were coming from the West Coast and all throughout the United States, as well as individuals traveling from around the world to this Richmond, VA concert to hear the Terrorist Wade Page’s white supremacist musical band “Definite Hate” and other white supremacist bands.

One Richmond, VA concert attendee JoCoRebel wrote “Anybody needing to make some face time get out there and do it, this is your chance to meet the soldiers for a future of our race!”

On March 16, 2012, the day before the white supremacist CHS concert, one CHS coordinator called “Vanilla Gorilla” provided the white supremacists with a telephone contact number to call for their final instructions.  This was uncovered in another web cache area of CHS white supremacist forum messages. After the March 17, 2012 Richmond, VA white supremacist Confederate Hammerskin concert, various attendees used the same secret CHS forum to praise efforts from “new prospects” (chilling thought), and to praise Adolf Hitler.  The attendees claim to include an individual who claims to be “Amish,” as well.  (I have not posted the parts of this where attendees use terms referencing vulgar racial slurs as part of their after concert “thanks.”)

Follow-Up Media Reports of Concerts in Chesterfield, VA (Richmond suburb)

Based on additional investigation by two news teams WTVR and WBTV, it also appears that the Richmond, VA concert white supremacist concert was held in the Chesterfield, VA suburb of Richmond, at an indoor, windowless concrete facility managed by the Mid-Cities Civic Association. Previous concerts turned 100-150 attendees. One rental agent said that she saw the attendees giving a “Heil Hitler” salute.

The Mid-Cities Civic Association’s indoor facility was located at 9010 Quinnford Blvd, North Chesterfield/Bellwood, Virginia 23237

After WTVR television broadcasta story on Tuesday linking the terrorist’s use of the Mid-Cities Civic Association rental hall, Association President Nick Curry told WTVR “we don’t approve of it and we won’t rent to them again.”

Wade Michael Page and Music of Hate

Terrorist Wade Michael Page’s bands are promoted by Antipathy Records, which continues to sell the terrorist’s music to impact the thinking of other impressionable young minds, to persuade them to accept Wade Michael Page’s vision of racial hatred.  They sell two different albums, “Definite Hate Violent Victory” and “End Apathy – Self Destruct” and “Definite Hate – Madder than hell.” They praise the latter album by “Definite Hate,” which was the white supremacist musical group that appeared at the Richmond, VA concert, and which is described by “Antipathy Records” as “After 13 years the Southern Hate still smashes like a HAMMER. 1. Madder than hell, Meaner than s**t 2. Enforcer 3. Unstoppable 4. Violent Victory 5. Infected World 6. Chosen Few 7. I’m the One 8. Indefinite Hatred 9. Bonecrusher 10. Cop Calling C**t 11. Backbone 12. All for One 13. Souls of Heroes.”

The gruesome images on the terrorist’s albums clearly communicated his hatred for others, especially the image on the first album, Definite Hate – Violent Victory, which shows a white individual bludgeoning a black individual with a chain. The cover of this white supremacist hate group album clearly demonstrates that goal to promote violence, as does the second “Definite Hate” album with a blood-covered axe used by a white supremacist.

There is no doubt that it was precisely this type of call for RACIAL VIOLENCE that was being promoted by the Terrorist Wade Page’s Definite Hate group during the CHS concert in Richmond, Virginia, which was also co-organized by CHS individuals in Richmond.

The question for the Richmond community should be – how will they address this ongoing racial hatred in Richmond that led to members of its community cheering for the hate of a white supremacist band which last weekend resulted in murder on people of a minority group?

This is indeed, the question for the entire nation and the world.

What we cannot afford to do – is IGNORE the problem of racial supremacism and hatred.

We urge all to

White Supremacist Stormfront Supporters Justify Terror Attack on Sikhs

White supremacist Wade Michael Page may have pulled the trigger, but hate groups provide the ammunition of hate in their minds.

White supremacist “hate group” Stormfront supporters continue to defend to murders of 6 Sikhs in Wisconsin by Wade Michael Page, whose white supremacist bands and ideology were promoted on the Stormfront web site.

White supremacist Wade Michael Page may have pulled the trigger, but hate groups provide the ammunition of hate in their minds.

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) previously reported on the comments by Stormfront supporters praising the killing of 6 Sikhs and the Stormfront “chief-in-staff” “Jack Boot” claiming that “they’re asking for it.”

On August 6, Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) reports on new comments by a Stormfront supporter saying that “They would all still be alive if they had just stayed in India where they belong. Should’ve stayed in India.” (Screen shot captured of Stormfront remarks).

This same Stormfront supporter wrote about Sikhs how he “hates them,” and called for them to go to their own country.

Another Stormfront supporter stated how he didn’t care if the murdered victims were Sikhs or Muslims, “It doesn’t matter what religion they are trash is trash,” and he called the murdered victims as “Casualties of War.”

Another Stormfront supporter provides more context of the mentality of the white supremacist organization, indicating the only thing that he regrets is that “the White guy got killed.”
“Just, please, stop the goodwill crap and how we adore Sikhs and all. It’s not going to gain us PR goody-points. Too late for that. But we can’t live with one ear always cocked toward the mean-mouthed SPLC and jew-owned media. F**k’em.
The only thing I’m sorry about is that the White guy got killed.”

The Stormfront supporter praises the terrorist as “One guy who maybe just had enough… lost all his cool and took direct action.”

Another Stormfront supporter does not condemn the Wade Michael Page’s terrorist attack, but views it as a “white” “uprising,” stating “I am actually surprised it has taken this long for people just rise up. Especially white males who are working class….”

Florida media have also been reporting on Stormfront’s links to terrorist Wade Michael Page, including the Palm Beach Post report, WPTV news report, and WTSP news report

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) supports the Universal Human Rights for all people including freedom of religion, conscience, dignity, and safety. We reject those views that promote hatred against individuals due to their identity group. The views of white supremacist groups such as the Stormfront supporters demonstrate their rejection not only of such Universal Human Rights, but also of fundamental American principles and Constitutional law.

The calls for violence, praise of terrorism, and promotion of racial and religious hatred is what we have continued to see at the Stormfront organization, based out of West Palm Beach, Florida, where the hate group leaders also have a regular radio show on a local WBPR AM network.

The day of the terrorist killings of 6 Sikhs, we have also seen remarks praising the killings by a Stormfront supporter praising and supporting the killings, stating”finally a man who got some nerve, how this non violent crap been working for all u guys who are slamming this guy, spread all the propaganda u want, the message isnt getting out, this is how points are made.”  The Stormfront “hate group” moderator “Jack Boot” originally removed the post and then reposted it.  Another Stormfront supporter shared the despair of other white supremacists that were upset about Sikhs in Wisconsin, stating with a “sad face,” that in addition to Sikhs in New Jersey, they also had “jews and muslims, etc., etc.”.  R.E.A.L. has captured a screen shot of the Stormfront supporter’s praise of the terrorist attack.

Stormfront Editor and Chief of Staff Jack Boot, also defended keeping the posting up about praising the terrorist attack on the Sikhs stating “they’re asking for it.” Regarding the Stormfront supporter praising the terrorist killer that attacked the Sikh temple, “Jack Boot” states “I don’t hold his sentiments against him. He’s far, far from the only one, of any race or creed, thinking in these terms. And others have pointed out that, regardless of the details that may emerge, strife is inevitable under a regime enforcing multiculturalism. Christ, they’re asking for it.”  R.E.A.L. has captured a screen shot of the Stormfront “chief of staff” comments on this as well.

The point here is, even knowing the severity of the mass murder, this “Stormfront Chief of Staff” could NOT bring himself to condemn someone praising MURDER, and calling for more MURDER – and instead blames a multicultural society – stating “they’re asking for it.”  That is the message to remember regarding extremist hate groups like Stormfront and the threat they pose to public safety.

These are not the only calls and praise for terrorism within Stormfront.

As R.E.A.L. has previously posted, Stormfront has a long history of promoting racial hate and its supporters have been involved with and promoted terrorism.   We have documented a number of such cases.

Daniel Cowart – Stormfront supporter and terrorist plotter – pled guilty in 2010 to a terrorist plot to kill 88 African Americans and Barack Obama – he also shot up a black church

Richard Poplawski – Stormfront supporter and murderer of police officers – on November 28, 2008 Poplawki post on StormFront read: “I’ve been a longtime lurker on Stormfront, and I see myself probably ramping up the activism in the near future,” then murdered three Pittsburgh police officers and wounded two others in April 2009

Pentagon Terrorist John Patrick Bedell – Stormfront supporters praised John Patrick Bedell’s terrorist efforts at the Pentagon on March 4, 2010 – wounding two police officers

Texas Terrorist Joseph Stack – Stormfront supporters praised Joseph Stack’s terrorist attack on the Austin, Texas IRS building on February 18, 2010, killing African American Vernon Hunter, who was an IRS employee and a Vietnam veteran.

Washington DC Terrorist James Von Brunn – attacked the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC on June 10, 2009 – in January 2010, Stormfront supporters eulogized the death of terrorist James Von Brunn who had murdered security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns – Stormfront supporters praised his terrorist attack and called for others to “to hate with violent passion”

To those who believe that Stormfront is merely a group of “harmless” extremists, the cost of being silent to those promoting dangerous hate can be the cost of lives of innocent Americans.

Wisconsin: 6 Killed in Terrorist Attack on Sikh Temple by Man Linked to White Supremacists – Stormfront Hate Group Supporters Praise Attack, Some Say “They’re Asking for It”

Wisconsin terrorist attack:  In Oak Creek, Wisconsin, six people were shot and killed today as a result of a terrorist attack at Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, which is south of Milwaukee along Lake Michigan.  The total death toll is 7 dead, including the killer Wade Michael, Page.  Government officials are treating this  as a domestic terrorism incident.” Our prayers go out to those who were killed in this terrorist attack, and we urge all those who promote hatred and violence to Choose Love, Not Hate – Love Wins.

The Sikh Coalition’s Executive Director Sapreet Kaur issued a statement: “The Sikh Coalition’s thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the shooting, the Sikh community of Milwaukee, and the larger community of Wisconsin, which we know will stand with their Sikh neighbors with their support and prayers during this very trying time.”

White Supremacist Terrorist Identified as Wade Michael Page

The terrorist has been identified as Wade Michael Page, a veteran of the U.S. Army who was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas and previously at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  He was reportedly stationed in psychological operations units throughout his service.  Apparently, he recently moved to the Oak Creek, Wisconsin area, living in a rental unit in Cudahy, Wisconsin.

The Washington Post reported that Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards said “police were investigating reports that the shooter, who was white, may have harbored extreme racial views.” Reuters has reported research from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), stating: “Wade had been a member of the racist skinhead band End Apathy, based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 2010, said Heidi Beirich, director of the intelligence project at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama. Wade also tried to buy goods from the National Alliance, a neo-Nazi group, in 2000, she said.”

According to the SPLC Blog report Wade Michael Page “was a frustrated neo-Nazi who had been the leader of a racist white-power band. In 2010, Page, then the leader of the band End Apathy, gave an interview to the white supremacist website Label 56. He said that when he started the band in 2005, its name reflected his wish to ‘figure out how to end people’s apathetic ways’ and start ‘moving forward.'”

The Label 56 white supremacist musical website maintained an account on the Stormfront “hate group” web site, and Label 56 promoted their interview with Wade Michael Page on the Stormfront web page there (see captured screen shot of this). Wade Michael Page’s “End Apathy” band is repeatedly addressed on the Stormfront “hate group” web site, which appeared at white supremacist parties and gatherings, including a white supremacist gathering in March 2012 in Richmond, Virginia.  The “End Apathy” Stormfront Member was based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and joined Stormfront in March 2008.  (Screenshot capture).

The End Apathy White Supremacist band was also promoted on Stormfront’s web site, where the band sought to hold “Meet and Greet” efforts with other white supremacists, such as the one North Carolina, where Wade Michael Page was previously stationed in the U.S. Army.

News media have also been reporting on the links between the Stormfront group and terrorist Wade Michael Page.

Stormfront Supporters Praise Terrorist Attack Against Sikhs – Stormfront Group “Chief of Staff” States: “Christ, they’re asking for it.”

Supporters of the white supremacist “hate group” Stormfront spoke out to praise the terrorist attack.   One Stormfront supporter  wrote “finally a man who got some nerve, how this non violent crap been working for all u guys who are slamming this guy, spread all the propaganda u want, the message isnt getting out, this is how points are made.”  The Stormfront “hate group” moderator “Jack Boot” originally removed the post and then reposted it.

Christ, they’re asking for it.”  R.E.A.L. has captured a screen shot of the Stormfront “chief of staff” comments on this as well.

Stormfront supporters have a repeated history of terrorist attacks and killings of police officers.

Previous Killings of Sikhs in America; Hate Crimes Not Recorded for Sikhs

On March 4, 2011, two Sikh Americans, Surinder Singh, and Gurmej Singh Atwal, were shot to death in Oak Grove, California, while taking their daily walk.  Community leaders managed to get reward money on information raised to $30,000 during March 2011. The reward money on information has increased to $57,000.

Sikh activists sought to hold a Day of Remembrance for them in October 2011, distributing fliers to public letting them know there is $57,000 in reward money for persons with information regarding the killings. While there was a new lead on a possible truck in February 2012, the case remains unsolved.  In July 2011, the Associated Press published an article stating how Sikhs have been the repeated target of violence, which some state are part of a nationwide pattern of violence against Sikhs.

Other Sikh groups have stated have urged the U.S. federal government authorities to start tracking hate crimes against Sikhs.  In April 2012, 90 Congressional representative signed a letter urging the Department of Justice and FBI to track hate crimes against Sikhs.

Sikh Group Warned of Nazi White Supremacist Threats Months Ago

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) notes that in April 2012, the Canadian-based World Sikh Organization (WSO) reported concerns about threats by Nazi white supremacists.  This was reported by Panthic stating: “The WSO is concerned that if misleading news reports continue, there will be an increase in physical attacks on Sikhs, like the one in Edmonton in March by Calgary-based white-supremacist group Blood and Honour. The neo-Nazi group also has active members in Vancouver.”  In the past Sikh groups have been part of panels warning of the growth of “hate groups” in America.
Among our American supporters of R.E.A.L., we deeply regret the hate that some have in our country towards people because of their race, religion, ethnic origin, or other identity group. We remain concerned that such white supremacist extremists remain a threat to public safety and national security.

We also urge those whose hearts are consumed by such hate to reconsider their direction. Hate is never the answer to your problems or concerns. Hate is a disease that harms everyone.

Choose Love, Not Hate – Love Wins.

Previous News Updates

CNN had previously reported that the terrorist “was an Army veteran who may have been a white supremacist, according to a law enforcement source involved in the investigation.”

ABC News had previously reported that “According to information broadcast over police radio, a witness to the shooting told law enforcement the shooter was a white male, bald, with a heavy build.”

The Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel previously reported that “Officials indicated no more information would be released until a briefing at 10 a.m. Monday. They said the FBI will lead the investigation. While some witnesses reported there may have been a second shooter, authorities said there was no indication of that. A hotline has been established for family members looking for information on those involved. The number is (888) 298-1964.”

NBC news previously reported that “A law enforcement official told NBC News the gunman was dressed in tactical gear and armed with a single handgun.” NBC also reported that “Federal law enforcement officials told NBC News the suspected gunman had no obvious connection to domestic terror or white supremacist groups and apparently was not on any list of suspected terrorists.”

Spokane: Nazi Terrorist Sentenced for Terror Bomb Attempt on MLK Unity Parade

Nazi Terrorist Kevin William Harpham was sentenced to 32 years in prison for a terrorist Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attempt to murder 2,000 people during a planned Martin Luther King Jr. Day Unity March held on January 17, 2011, in Spokane, Washington.

Nazi Terrorist Harpham was part of online Nazi white supremacist extremist networks. As reported by the SPLC, “on January 17, 2011, less than 12 hours after posting on the Nazi Vanguard News Network (VNN), Kevin William Harpham placed an improvised explosive device concealed in a backpack along a Martin Luther King parade route in Spokane Washington. The lead sinkers in the radio-detonated IED were coated with Warfarin rat poison, evidently intended to increase bleeding. Had the device functioned, dozens of men, women and children would have been killed or injured. Harpham also distributed The Aryan Alternative.”

CNN reported: “Harpham, an unemployed electrician from Colville, Washington, pleaded guilty in September to charges of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction and attempting to commit a federal hate crime. Shrapnel in the “improvised explosive device” contained anticoagulant to prevent blood clotting, authorities said. After he is released from prison, Harpham will serve the rest of his life under court supervision, federal prosecutors said. “Harpham admitted that he is a white supremacist and white separatist, and that he placed the explosive device at the march with the intent to cause bodily injury to the person or persons in order to further his racist beliefs,” a Justice Department statement said. Federal prosecutors had recommended that Harpham be sentenced to 32 years in prison, according to court documents. He was sentenced in federal court in Spokane. The January 17 march was attended by about 2,000 people, including racial minorities, authorities said.”

CBS reported that”just before he was scheduled to be sentenced, Harpham’s lawyer tried unsuccessfully to withdraw his guilty plea by questioning whether the explosive device in question met the legal definition of a bomb. Harpham said he intended to seek an appeal. The pipe bomb was loaded with lead fishing weights coated in rat poison, which can inhibit blood clotting in wounds, officials have said. The bomb was discovered and disabled before it could explode. The parade on Jan. 17 drew a crowd of about 2,000 on a cold winter morning. It was forced onto an alternative route after the bomb was found. Harpham walked in the parade and took pictures of young black children and of a Jewish man who was wearing a yarmulke, prosecutors have said.  Prosecutors said Harpham acted alone. He was arrested March 9 at his rural home near Addy, Wash.  The plea deal charged Harpham with attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction, and the hate crime of placing the bomb in an effort to target minorities. Prosecutors dropped charges of using a firearm in relation to a crime of violence and unauthorized possession of an unregistered explosive device. If convicted, he could have faced up to life in prison.  The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate groups, has said that Harpham made more than 1,000 postings on the Vanguard News Network, a white supremacist website. The center also has said that Harpham belonged to a neo-Nazi group called the National Alliance.”

The Department of Justice press release stated:

WASHINGTON MAN SENTENCED TO 32 YEARS FOR ATTEMPTED BOMBING OF MARTIN LUTHER KING UNITY MARCH

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Justice Department announced today that Kevin William Harpham, 37, of Colville, Wash., has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for the placement of the improvised explosive device alongside the planned Martin Luther King Jr. Day Unity March held on Jan. 17, 2011, in Spokane, Wash. Harpham will serve the rest of his life under court supervision after he is released from prison. Harpham pleaded guilty in Sept. 7, 2011, to two counts of a superseding indictment; attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and attempt to cause bodily injury with an explosive device because of actual or perceived race, color and national origin of any person.

On March 9, 2011, Harpham was arrested for placing the explosive device alongside the Unity March. The march was attended by approximately 2,000 individuals, including racial minorities. The explosive device placed by Harpham was capable of inflicting serious injury or death, according to laboratory analysis conducted by the FBI. Harpham admitted that he is a white supremacist and white separatist, and that he placed the explosive device at the march with the intent to cause bodily injury to the person or persons in order to further his racist beliefs.

“Acts of hate like this one have no place in our country in the year 2011, but yet, unfortunately, we continue to see attempted violence in our communities due to racial animus,” said Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Thomas Perez. “The Justice Department is committed to enforcing the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. hate Crimes Prevention Act, and all the tools in our law enforcement arsenal, to prosecute such egregious crimes.

“This case underscores the continuing threat from those who seek to express their hatred through violence and the serious consequences these individuals face for such actions,” said Lisa Monaco, Assistant Attorney General for National Security. “The sentence handed down today is the culmination of an outstanding investigation conducted jointly by federal, state and local law enforcement officials.

Michael C. Ormsby, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, said, “I commend the law enforcement efforts at all phases of the investigation and prosecution of this matter. This was one of the most thorough investigations that I have ever seen and involved multi-levels of law enforcement and multiple offices and other professionals. Our office received significant assistance from the Civil Rights Division and National Security Division of the Justice Department. All who participated should be thanked and congratulated, this was truly a team effort.” U.S. Attorney Ormsby also added, “It is very important that Mr. Harpham receive the significant sentence that he did today to send the message to our community that hate and violence will not be tolerated.”

“Today, Mr. Harpham faces the consequences of his hate-filled act. A prototypical “lone wolf” such as Mr. Harpham presents a particularly vexing threat—with nothing foreshadowing a carefully planned attack,” said Laura M. Laughlin, Special Agent-in-Charge of the FBI Seattle office. “However, the actions of everyday citizens, the Spokane Police Department, the Spokane Explosives Disposal Unit, and the round-the-clock work of Joint Terrorism Task Force and its local, state, and federal members unraveled Mr. Harpham’s plan and swiftly brought him to justice. We will continue to tirelessly disrupt and rapidly apprehend others who attempt to express their hatred though violence.”

This investigation was conducted by the Inland Northwest Joint Terrorism Task Force comprised of the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the U.S. Marshals Service, the Federal Air Marshal Service, the U.S. Border Patrol, the Department of Homeland Security – Homeland Security Investigations, the Spokane Police Department, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington State Patrol, and with assistance from Stevens County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Employment Security Department. The Stevens County Road Department also provided significant assistance.

Washington State: Spokane Valley Synagogue Defaced with Swastika

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) supports our universal human rights of freedom of religion, freedom of conscience, and freedom of worship for all people.

On August 8, 2010, the Kehilat HaMashiach Synagogue in Spokane Valley, Washington state was defaced outside when someone painted a red Nazi swastika on their outdoor sign. The Kehilat HaMashiach Synagogue is a Messianic Jewish congregation.

KXLY reports that “In Spokane Valley the Kehilat HaMashiach Synagogue was vandalized Sunday when someone smeared their sign with a red swastika. Four days later a white cloth covers the symbol but the congregation of the synagogue know all too well the meaning behind the symbol. They says they want to bring attention to this because they want people to know this type of hatred is still going on in our community.”

NWCN News reports: “The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office knows about the crime, but say there was no discernible evidence left at the scene.”

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) urges those with any information on the crime to contact the Sheriff’s office at (509) 477-2240.
