Germany: Demjanjuk Loses Bid to Halt Nazi Death Camp Trial
— Bloomberg reports: “A Munich court rejected requests by John Demjanjuk’s lawyers to halt a trial over charges that he aided in the murder of 27,900 Jews during World War II.”
— “The court threw out a motion claiming Demjanjuk isn’t healthy enough to endure the two daily sessions of hearings scheduled during the trial. The defense wrongly claims its client is degraded into a ‘mere object of the proceedings,’ Presiding Judge Ralph Alt said when delivering the ruling.”
— “It’s Demjanjuk’s ‘own decision not to address the court and to not even deign to look at it — contrary to his behavior outside of the courtroom,’ Alt said. The court respects his habit ‘but it cannot infer from it that he can’t stand trial or that the case must be dropped for any other reason.'”

Wiesenthal slams Ukraine award to nationalist, alleged to be Nazi collaborator

Furthermore, we urge Al-Faraeen and Tawfiq Okasha to review the book “Dismantling the Big Lie” by Simon Wiesenthal Foundation’s Dr. Steven Jacobs. This book by Dr. Jacobs book remains one of the most comprehensive refutations of the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” and is available for free download in Arabic. Tawfiq Okasha claims to seek dialogue. We urge him to broadcast a refutation to the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” based on this information which is available in English and in Arabic.
We believe that it is not enough to simply dismiss those who hate as caricatures, and not to take hate seriously.
We believe that it is necessary to respond to mass movements that seek to promote hatred against any of our fellow human beings, as part of our defense of our universal human rights.
Egyptian television station Al-Faraeen owner Tawfiq Okasha defended the anti-Jewish propaganda broadcast on Al-Faraeen in a message broadcast and translated by MEMRI. Al-Faraeen’s Tawfiq Okasha questioned the historical fact of the Holocaust, and also defended Al-Faraeen’s broadcasts broadcasts promoting the apocryphal “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion” as a fact that Jews had a global conspiracy to rule the world.
In a television broadcast on January 17, 2010, Tawfiq Okasha stated that “I would like to say to the Jews: You talk about the Holocaust and about many other things. Do you have any video footage of this? Do you have any pictures of this? … Ever since I was born, I’ve been hearing about the Holocaust, but I haven’t seen any films of it. Send me films, and I will show them to public opinion, and we will be able to talk about this… There’s nothing to it.”
Tawfiq Okasha also stated: “You said that we had talked about The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and that these protocols are humiliating to the Jews. Well, these are the documents we have. You are invited to start a dialogue with us, and deny that the Jews have anything to do with these protocols.”
According to MEMRI, “Al-Faraeen TV is broadcast by the Atlantic Bird 4A satellite, which is owned by the France-based Eutelsat company. Since 2006, Eutelsat has been partnering with Nilesat in the operation of this satellite. Mansor Mohammad Asad of Toledo, Ohio was arrested Wednesday night on Delta Airlines flight 2485 from Miami to Detroit, according to reports by the Miami Herald, AP, and Reuters. Mansor Mohammad Asad was taken off the Delta Flight 2485 while taxiing on the Miami runway.
Reuters reports that Asad “began making loud anti-Semitic comments and chanting, apparently in Arabic,” and stated that witnesses told Reuters that Asad said “I’m Palestinian and I want (to) kill all Jews.” AP also reports that Asad stated “I want to kill all the Jews” before police forced him off a Detroit-bound plane.
According to the Miami Herald, Asad “berated officers and made racist comments” to them, including telling one to “Go back to Africa you white racist cop!”
AP reports that “witnesses told investigators who boarded the plane that Asad was loud, disruptive and claimed to be Palestinian.” Miami Herald reports that Asad charged and threatened police officers; it reports that Asad was “charged with threats against a public servant, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence to his person.” AP also reports that “The affidavit noted that alcohol didn’t appear to be a factor during the incident.”
Miami Herald reports that “Homeland Security’s Sari Koshetz wrote in a news release late Wednesday night. She said four passengers were taken off a plane from Miami to Detroit after making ‘inappropriate remarks and acting disruptively.’ Police did not release any information about the other passengers.”
AP reports that “FBI spokeswoman Judy Orihuela said there were no indications the disturbance was related to terrorism. The bureau was initially brought in to look into the incident but is no longer involved in the investigation. She said the FBI is treating the disruption as a matter for local authorities.”

The Nazi Stormfront members are posting to their web site praising terrorist Von Brunn, stating:
“He will be remembered. Others are defending Von Brunn’s terrorism as the acts of a man who “gave his life in the only way he saw fit. That’s a lot more than we can offer. News mediaarereporting that white supremacist terrorist James Von Brunn died today at 1 PM at a local hospital in Butner, North Carolina, AP reports from “Denise Simmons, the spokeswoman for the federal prison where von Brunn had been held.” AP reported that Von Brunn received medical care at the North Carolina prison complex, which is used for aging and sick inmates. His death is being eulogized by white supremacists and Nazis who are praising him as a “martyr” and an example for others to “act White.”

Von Brunn had been wounded by return fire, after he shot and killed black security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns at the U.S. Holocaust Museum in Washington DC on June 10, 2009. Von Brunn murdered Johns while Johns was holding the museum door open for Von Brunn. AP also reported that “Officials at the prison hospital had previously said chronic medical problems had complicated a psychiatric evaluation for the suspect, who prior to the shooting had written racist and anti-Semitic screeds on the Internet.”

The New York Times reported that “At the time of the Holocaust museum shooting, the F.B.I. said it knew he had an ‘established Web site that expressed hatred of African-Americans and Jews.’ ” Von Brunn had left a note in his automobile on the day of his terrorist attack on the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum stating that “The Holocaust is a lie… Obama was created by Jews. Obama does what his Jew owners tell him to do. Jews captured America’s money. Jews control the mass media.”
