Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) is aware of the efforts of Internet poster “Nemesis” aka “Rhamnousia” to attempt to provide information to white supremacist and Neo-Nazi groups who threaten us. This individual seeks to portray themselves as the human incarnation of a Greek goddess that seeks “retribution” or “revenge.”
We are not afraid.
Psalm 23:4 reads: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
Certainly, you are not the first and will not be the last who seeks threats against us. In every case, our response will be the same. We provide this message to you not out of fear, not out of anger, not out of hate, but out of sincere pity for you.
We don’t seek answers in hate, but know the truth in love. We pity the weight of hate upon your heart. We don’t defy you with an upraised fist, but offer our hopes for you with our outstretched hand in our human rights and love for all of humanity. Our human rights are for all human beings. But you cannot defend human rights with hate, but must recognize that love is the answer.
Additional reports are coming in regarding the victim of Joe Stack’s terrorist attack on the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) office in Austin, Texas. Austin’s Joe Stack crashed his plane into a federal building on February 18, 2010, killing himself and 67-year-old IRS worker Vernon Hunter.

The murdered IRS worker, Vernon Hunter, was described by a neighbor as “proud Vietnam Vet and a great neighbor,” as well as a “real tender guy.”

The American Statesman also reports: “police delivered Hunter’s Chevy Silverado truck, emblazoned with Vietnam Veteran and POW MIA emblems, to the home. Hunter served in Vietnam and often spoke of his time during the war, neighbors said.”
“Robert Foster, who has lived near Hunter for about 10 years, said that he knew Hunter was a veteran and wanted to honor him with his American flag. ‘Out of respect to him, when I came out this morning, I put my flag out,’ Foster said. ‘You could talk to him about anything. He always had a smile.’

“He was known to friends, co-workers and relatives as the one who gave. Hunter is also described as a devout Christian and father of six grown children who loved his white cowboy hat. At Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church in East Austin, where Hunter served as a lead usher, news of the tragedy weighed heavily.”
“‘We’re devastated,’ said Brian Balque, facilities manager at the church.”
“Balque said that Hunter had set up the church’s tax ministry, helping members and local residents with their taxes. ‘He had a servant’s heart,’ Balque said. ‘He represented what we stand for as a church, a kind word and a warm spirit.'”
“Balque said Hunter’s wife, who also works at the same IRS building and was there when the plane struck, called the church in the minutes afterward asking for prayers for her husband.”

Vernon Hunter’s son, Ken Hunter, called his dad “a hero,” and said that he was someone who helped someone with their problems.

KENS 5 News reports that: “Ken calls his father a real American patriot; a man who decided to serve his country as a soldier, putting his life in danger to defend freedom at a time when other men his age were dodging the draft.”
“In the same breath, Ken calls his father’s attacker, Joe Stack, a coward.”
“Ken has read posts on-line calling Stack a ‘hero’ who ‘struck a blow against the government.’ He knows of the sites set up on web pages like Facebook.com where people have memorialized Stack and written tributes to him.”
“Ken sees no honor in what Stack did.”
“He sees no honor in a man trying to burn down his own home…. He sees no honor in a man who can’t pay his taxes but owns a plane, deciding to fly that plane into a building in an effort to claim innocent lives.”
“He sees no honor in anything that Joseph Stack did on Thursday.”
“All he sees now is a life cut short. The life of a retired Vietnam veteran and grandfather who will never see his six grandchildren grow up.”

R.E.A.L. urges all Americans to Choose Love, Not Hate. Love Wins.
The Columbia Heights district of Washington DC is a diverse area with white, black, Asian, Hispanic ethnicities. I chose the location for its very diversity, which groups like the American Renaissance seek to mock. Moreover, I made a point in speaking to people of color that I was standing in public as a white man showing that I recognized that defying white supremacism is the responsibility of white Americans too. One passerby said with a smile, “about time someone understands that!”
February 19 - R.E.A.L.'s Jeffrey Imm Speaks at Columbia Heights After Cancellation of "American Renaissance" Event
Given the repeated threats against protesters by members of Stormfront and other “white nationalist” groups, I asked some supporters to hold back from this event which was not a rally, but merely a public awareness event to hand out fliers about the continuing challenge to the DC metropolitan area by “white nationalist” “hate groups” such as American Renaissance, VDARE, Occidental Dissent, and Stormfront. I updated the public about the recent cancellation of the “American Renaissance” event, and also informed of the efforts of such groups to continue to seek to spread hate in the DC area.
A number of people thanked me for coming out to speak today. As always, it was my pleasure, and as always, it was another good day to be Responsible for Equality And Liberty.
Fliers Distributed on DC/VA/MD "White Nationalist" "Hate Groups"
I asked them what they were afraid of. They could see that I had no “gang of thugs” or “mob ready to shout them down.”
They still were so ashamed to appear in public, that one of them, “Hunter Wallace” had to hide his face with a black bandanna scarf and hat. They sought to videotape my outreach to the DC public. One man took a flier and wrote on “Hate Get Out” and showed it to them. “Hunter Wallace” was joined by “Pip Pockets” who made catcalls and giggled. I pity their fear and hate, and they should know that our rejection of their ideology is not a rejection of them as human beings. We urge them to drop the hate from their hearts, and Choose Love, Not Hate.
I asked them where American Renaissance’s Jared Taylor was, but they had no answer – just like they had no courage to debate us on their ideas. One meekly said he stood for “white power,” then promptly stopped talking.
My response was that myself and our supporters call, not for “white power,” but for “Human Power.”
Because it is that Human Power that stands up to hate, stands up to supremacism, stands up to totalitarianism, and gives strength to our shared consensus on our universal human rights. We believe that all men and women are created equal. That is never a question. That is a declaration of what it means to be an American, and it is declaration of the most fundamental aspect of our universal human rights.
It is such Human Power that allows even a single individual to defy the forces of hate. It is such Human Power that demonstrates that hate belongs in the past, and that our love for our fellow human beings and their universal human rights is the future.
Choose Love, Not Hate. Love Wins.
Note: We will have a rally of those in support of Racial Harmony, Equality, Justice – in Defiance of Racial Supremacism – on the Steps of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool next month (previously planned for April 4 before we learned that was Easter Sunday this year). I hope to see you there. We will have more in the near future on this – check back at RealCourage.org, or email us at info@realcourage.org
New report on the Noor Almaleki “honor killing” states that her father, charged with first degree murder, after he allegedly ran her over and murdered her with a Jeep in October 2009, will not face the death penalty in Arizona.
A Glendale man accused of killing his daughter in an “honor killing” will not face the death penalty.
After sparring with the suspect’s defense attorney over its death-penalty-review process, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office has said it will not seek death for Faleh Almaleki, 49.
The Iraqi immigrant is accused of killing his daughter, 20-year-old Noor Almaleki, for being “too Westernized.”
Police say he used his Jeep Cherokee to run down his daughter and another woman in a Peoria parking lot Oct. 20. Noor later died of her injuries.
Almaleki is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and two counts of leaving the scene of a serious accident. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The decision not to seek the death penalty comes after Almaleki’s attorney, Billy Little, a public defender, asked a judge to take special precautions to ensure the County Attorney’s Office wouldn’t wrongly seek the death penalty because Almaleki is a Muslim.
Little requested that the office make public the process it uses to determine whether to seek capital punishment.
“An open process provides some level of assurance that there is no appearance that a Christian is seeking to execute a Muslim for racial, political, religious or cultural beliefs,” Little wrote, referring to County Attorney Andrew Thomas’ Christian faith.
Laura Reckart, a county prosecutor, responded that Little’s concern about the “supposed bias” of the office’s death-penalty-review process was “without legitimate factual or legal basis.”
She wrote that the state can seek the death penalty for any person convicted of first-degree murder if it can prove the existence of at least one aggravating factor, not because of religion.
However, the debate stopped there. On Tuesday, Reckart filed a motion indicating prosecutors would not seek the death penalty.
Mike Scerbo, a spokesman for the County Attorney’s Office, declined to comment on the decision.
Prosecutors said Almaleki has admitted killing his daughter because she disgraced the family by not following traditional Iraqi or Muslim values.
They liken the case to honor killings that occur in the Middle East, Africa and other parts of the world. In tribal societies where the practice occurs, male family members feel they must kill a rebellious relative who shames them by not adhering to traditional values.
Noor had reportedly married a man in Iraq and returned to Arizona to live with a boyfriend and his mother in Surprise, police said.

— “On Saturday, 70 or 80 residents demonstrated, carrying signs that said: ‘God can love everyone. Why can’t you?’ ‘No room 4 hate” and “Not 1 inch of our town,” according to a video posted on the Eagle Web site.”
— “‘They’re destructive, they’re deceitful. They claim to be Christians; they’re not Christians. And we’ve got to take a stand,” said resident Jim Spell, in the newspaper’s video. “We can’t just sit and hope they go away. We’ve got to be visible. That’s why we’re here.'”
— “Callister said the men visited the newspaper offices on Feb. 17, the same day her weekly newspaper publishes, so the first few stories on the topic appeared online.”
— “‘The outpouring we’ve seen from just online coverage has been intense,’ Callister said, explaining that two groups immediately formed on the social networking site Facebook opposing the Aryan Nations in Grant County. The first group had 1,000 fans within the first couple of days and the other had 600, she said.”
— “John Day’s population is 1,850, according to the city’s Web site.”
— “Callister said Mullet and the other men walked around town for two days, looking at property. They indicated their plan to establish a compound in Grant County and make it the organization’s headquarters. One of the newspaper’s stories said other guests at the hotel the men were staying at left early due to their presence.”
— “The Aryan Nations, once based near Hayden Lake, was put out of business after followers of founder Richard Butler chased and shot at two people whose vehicle had stopped in front of the group’s compound in 1998. A Coeur d’Alene jury in 2000 awarded $6.3 million in damages. Butler subsequently declared bankruptcy. His assets were liquidated and the compound leveled.”
— “Since Butler died in 2004, a number of people have tried to revive the Aryan Nations, but the efforts typically fall apart because of internal bickering.”

The mission, outlined on the group’s website, is to create a state for the ‘Aryan race,’ separate from all non-whites, and a ‘lawful Congress of our race.'”
