Stormfront White Supremacist’s Further Praise for Terrorist Wade Page

White supremacist Stormfront supporters continue to support and praise the August 5, 2012 terrorist killings by fellow Stormfront supporter Wade Michael Page.   The ongoing rants by white supremacists debating the Page’s terrorist killings, includes further praise by a Stormfront white supremacist who called the terrorist attack as “more like an act of homeland defense,” and praised the terrorist actions as “[a] native son shot some aliens who are destroying something precious and irreplaceable.”

Regarding Wade Page’s terrorist murders, the Stormfront supporter “wunndrin” states “This one was not ‘wanton’, it was directed. And I’m glad some of this mud rabble got a report back from the White people, for that’s how they’ll see it, because they KNOW whose country this really is.” The Stormfront supporter views the killings as preceding a “large ‘SHTF race war’ or reclamation of White homelands – maybe our only chance of salvation…”

Texas Shootings by Anti-Govt Man Result in 3 Dead; Stormfront White Supremacists Claim Conspiracy Plot

In College Station, Texas, near Texas A&M university, Thomas Caffall shot and killed Brazos County Constable Brian Bachmann as the contable was bringing him an eviction notice, and also killed a bystander Chris Northcliff. Thomas Caffall was also killed in the shootout. In addition, a woman bystander was injured in the shootings and is in critical condition.

The “Texas A&M Shooter” Thomas Caffall who killed two on August 13, 2012 was a white male from Bryan, Texas, before he lived in College Station, Texas. He was divorced, called himself a Christian, and widely published on a gun forum called AKFiles as “trestx.” Thomas Caffall stated that he was a supporter of the the National Rifle Association, the Tea Party Patriots, various gun groups, and various political individuals, including a politician running for Texas State District 14. One of his heroes was a Finnish sniper, Simo Häyhä, known as “white death.”

In addition Thomas Caffall praised anti-government individuals that committed violence, including a man named Tom Ball in New Hampshire who split the lip of his 4 year old daughter, and then decided to “show the system,” by setting himself on fire in front of a courthouse. Posting as trestx, the shooter in College Station, TX described Tom Ball as courageous, stating “This man had courage. Live free or die.”

Another anti-government sympathizer, Jim Quinn, wrote about Tom Ball “He argues for a complete takedown of the Federal Government and starting over from scratch. He may be an example of what is to come – people throwing themselves violently up against the system in order to bring it down.”

One of Thomas Caffall’s favorite quotes was from George Orwell “People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”  Caffall repeatedly included it on his Facebook page and his online postings.

Stormfront white supremacists have used the shootings by the anti-government Thomas Caffall to further rationalize their own anti-government conspiracy theories. The White Supremacist Stormfront supporters are claiming that the killings are a government conspiracy to take guns away from whites. This is the same white supremacist Stormfront group that terrorist Wade Michael Page and other terrorist supporters have supported.

Stormfront supporter MattwhiteAmerica writes “I’m expecting that Obama is behind this…All 3 were white guys, all 3 in short order. Obama has already through fast and furious has killed 300 Mexican nationals and 2 border guards. DO NOT put this pass this sob. He is trying to force the American people to give up our gun rights.” This Stormfront supporter uses Stormfront’s logo, which was also on the shirt that Stormfront admitted selling to terrorist Wade Michael Page who killed 6 Sikhs.

Another Stormfront supporter “ItalianMan” responds, “I can absolutely see that. He will probably try to use these mass shootings/rampages as leverage to ban guns or harshly regulate them. Take the guns away, give the government more power, even a possibility of martial law. NOT a good idea. Especially when you have a country run by Zionist Jews and a negro that hates white people.”

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.)’s prayers are with the victims of this tragic shooting and the families of the victims whose lives Thomas Caffall ended.  We know that violence requires hate as its fuel to continue, and we urge an end to such hate in the lives of all of our fellow human beings.

Pennsylvania Group Promoted on White Supremacist Stormfront Where Terrorist Posted

Groups linked to terrorist Wade Michael Page promoted a Pennsylvania group and event that calls for “action” by whites.  On the same white supremacist web site where terrorist Wade Michael Page promoted his racist hate events, a Pennsylvania-based group has been promoting what it calls the “European American Action Coalition  (EAAC), led by a Stormfront forum member named Steve Smith.   In addition, Pennsylvania EAAC events have been promoted by the “Label 56” racial hate music group that promoted terrorist Wade Michael Page’s bands.

The leader of the Pennsylvania EAAC, Steve Smith, has widely posted on this Stormfront web page (547 postings), where Stormfront supporters have praised and supported terrorism, including the recent attack in Wisconsin.  In addition to terrorist Wade Michael Page, the Stormfront organization has also been used by Stormfront supporter and terrorist plotter Daniel Cowart and Pennsylvania’s Richard Poplawski, who was a regular poster on Stormfront before he murdered 3 and wounded 2 Pittsburgh police officers.

Stormfront White Supremacist Web Site: Pennsylvania-based Group "European American Action Coalition" Promoted on Same Web Site Where White Supremacist Terrorist Wade Michael Page Promoted His Groups' Events (Photo: Stormfront Screen Shot)

The “European American Action Coalition” (EAAC) began promoting its Pennsylvania organization on the Stormfront web site on December 31, 2011 – nearly 8 months ago in a Stormfront area Pennsylvania “activism.”    The Associated Press reports that the EAAC group leader Steve Smith was also a member of the Keystone State Skinheads, and was arrested for previous violence against black Americans: “Court records show Smith pleaded guilty in 2003 to state charges of ethnic intimidation and simple assault, both misdemeanors, and was sentenced to one to 12 months in prison. According to a 2003 newspaper account, Smith and two other members of the Keystone State Skinheads yelled racial slurs at a black man and threw a brick at him.”

By January 2012, the EAAC started using the Stormfront white supremacist web site to begin promoting a Wilkes-Barre area Pennsylvania event, which was linked to their web site as the “European American Heritage Celebration will take place August 11, 2012 from Noon-6pm at Mercatili Segilia Park in Moosic, PA.”  Moosic is a borough in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, six miles south of Scranton and 13 miles northeast of Wilkes-Barre on the Lackawanna River.   Also in January 2012, the EAAC group was pleased when its Letter to the Editor promoting its group was published in the Wilkes-Barre area newspaper, the Times-Leader.  Another Stormfront supporter in Wilkes-Barre, “Warrior of Truth,” indicated that the the August event was going to have “bands,” and given the “Label 56” group event promotion of this event, it is likely to have been bands similar to the one led by terrorist Wade Michael Page.

The event was cancelled by the Borough of Moosic due to misrepresentation on the application form for usage of a Moosic’s Mercatili-Segilia Park.   On the EAAC group’s website, it threatened “action WILL be taken against the borough for their discriminatory acts against the EAAC.”   On August 9, 2012, the Times-Tribune originally reported the actions as being against a “white rights group celebration.”

The Label 56 racist music group that promoted terrorist Wade Michael Page’s bands and records, had also promoted the EAAC Pennsylvania event in Moosic scheduled for August 11.

On the EAAC website, the group describes Pennsylvania as ” known across the country – even the world as being an active and successful region for the pro-White cause.”     Stormfront supporter and the leader of the EAAC, Steve Smith of Pittston, was elected to the Luzerne County Republican Committee representing Pittston City for a four year term.

The EAAC leaders have previously appeared with leaders of the Stormfront organization at “European American” events.

As R.E.A.L. has previously posted, Stormfront has a long history of promoting racial hate and its supporters have been involved with and promoted terrorism.   We have documented a number of such cases, which has included recent cases of praising the terrorist attack in Wisconsin, and justifying this terrorist attack.

— Daniel Cowart – Stormfront supporter and terrorist plotter – pled guilty in 2010 to a terrorist plot to kill 88 African Americans and Barack Obama – he also shot up a black church

— Richard Poplawski – Stormfront supporter and murderer of police officers – on November 28, 2008 Poplawki post on StormFront read: “I’ve been a longtime lurker on Stormfront, and I see myself probably ramping up the activism in the near future,” then murdered three Pittsburgh police officers and wounded two others in April 2009

— Pentagon Terrorist John Patrick Bedell – Stormfront supporters praised John Patrick Bedell’s terrorist efforts at the Pentagon on March 4, 2010 – wounding two police officers

— Texas Terrorist Joseph Stack – Stormfront supporters praised Joseph Stack’s terrorist attack on the Austin, Texas IRS building on February 18, 2010, killing African American Vernon Hunter, who was an IRS employee and a Vietnam veteran.

— Washington DC Terrorist James Von Brunn – attacked the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC on June 10, 2009 – in January 2010, Stormfront supporters eulogized the death of terrorist James Von Brunn who had murdered security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns – Stormfront supporters praised his terrorist attack and called for others to “to hate with violent passion”

To those who believe that Stormfront is merely a group of “harmless” extremists, the cost of being silent to those promoting dangerous hate can be the cost of lives of innocent Americans.

China: Murder Reported to Conceal Live Organ Harvesting Horror against Falun Gong

Reports on Chinese Communist Party’s organ harvesting horror targeting Falun Gong prisoners in Chinese concentration camps indicate that the recent murder by Gu Kailai was the result of efforts to cover-up an international conspiracy by those involved in organ harvesting.   United Nations investigators and other human rights activists have been attempting to reveal the atrocities in Chinese concentration camps, involving killing of prisoners and horrific reports of live organ harvesting of prisoners.

Gu Kailai (L), wife of the ousted Bo Xilai (R). The Epoch Times recently learned that Gu killed British businessman Neil Heywood because he had revealed information about organ harvesting in which he, Gu, and Bo were all involved. (New Epoch Weekly Photo Archive)

Gu Kailai is the wife of a former leader in the CCP, Bo Xilai. On March 15, 2012, Bo Xilai was dismissed from his Politburo post in the CCP. The major news media has reported on Gu Kailai’s conviction of the murder British businessman Neil Heywood. However, Chinese human rights activists also have obtained additional information for context on the motive behind this crime.

The recent Epoch Times report states a motive for Gu Kailai’s murder of Neil Heywood was his knowledge and “revealing information about organ harvesting,” stating “[r]evealing [h]er and Bo Xilai’s organ harvesting crimes led to Heywood’s murder.”

The Epoch Times report states that:

“The murdered British businessman Neil Heywood knew too much– and apparently talked about what he knew. That, according to a source familiar with the matter, was the motive for his being killed. Heywood’s involvement with former Chinese Communist Party heavyweight Bo Xilai and Bo’s wife Gu Kailai was far more extensive than has previously been reported. It apparently included profiting with them from the atrocity of forced live organ harvesting and from allegedly trading in dead bodies. It also involved his assisting them in plans for a coup. Heywood was found poisoned to death in the Lucky Holiday Hotel in the central-western megalopolis of Chongqing on Nov. 14, 2011. On April 10, Gu Kailai and her employee Zhang Xiaojun were reportedly in custody as suspects in the murder. Gu was originally described by state-run media as having murdered Heywood due to disagreements about financial matters. On July 25, in its first comment on the matter since April, the regime mouthpiece Xinhua elaborated on this motive: as a result of the disagreements over business matters, it was said Gu feared Heywood would harm her son, Bo Guagua, and so decided to murder the British businessman.”

Epoch Times also reports

“Allegedly Heywood was involved with Bo and Gu in the business of organ harvesting in Liaoning, according to The Epoch Times’ source, and this is what sealed his death warrant. Heywood had begun leaking information about their involvement in this atrocity. Heywood was also allegedly involved in the trade of dead human bodies. Beginning in 2000, two factories opened in Dalian that preserved human bodies for exhibition purposes. In 2003, ‘The Oriental Outlook Magazine,’ an affiliate of state mouthpiece Xinhua, reported that in 2003 China had already become the country exporting the largest number of human corpses, and that one of the companies in Dalian City was the largest human body mummification factory in the world. Earlier this year, The Epoch Times obtained reliable information from Dalian City that the vast majority of bodies made available to the mummification factories were murdered Falun Gong practitioners.”

R.E.A.L. has also previously reported on one of the Dalian factories, known as the Von Hagens Plastination (Dalian) Co., Ltd.,  managed by German Dr. Gunther Von Hagens.  The Taipei Times raised concerns on this in 2004. In 2008 and 2009 when these mummification exhibits of bodies were displayed in the U.S., R.E.A.L, ABC News, the Sydney Morning Herald, and others, raised concerns that these were from murdered prisoners.

Epoch Times reports that the CCP’s Bo Xilai and former CCP secretary of the PLAC Luo Gan were involved in the global organ and human body trafficking. The report states that Bo Xilai’s wife “Gu Kailai was a mastermind in financial management, international and domestic online advertisement, and the opening up of export channels for organ and human body trafficking. According to The Epoch Times’ source, Heywood assisted Gu.”

In April 2012, Beijing police reportedly detained a reporter Wang Xijing (a reporter at 21st Century Business Herald), and two other reporters who had been sharing a text message “that is related to the Bo Xilai and Neil Heywood investigation cases.” China Uncensored has a related report on Bo Xilai and organ harvesting. In February 2012, Epoch Times provided another report on organ harvesting atrocities, Bo Xilai, and former director of the public security bureau Wang Lijun. According to the February 2012 report, Wang Liju was aware of “several thousand intensive on-site transplants.”

In addition, the UK Guardian is reporting that the CCP does not want an investigation into Bo Xilai, because reporting “[s]ome think that is because any hint of a connection between a leader and a murder would sully the reputation of the party as a whole.”

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) has repeatedly reported on CCP atrocities in Communist concentration camps and throughout the country of 1.2 billion people.  In Washington D.C., on July 13, 2012, victims of such Communist atrocities, including survivors who were once imprisoned in Communist concentration camps, told their stories of torture and the murder of others.  Another woman spoke of her family arrested by the Communists and sent to such a prison camp.  The Chinese people have been protesting in the United States of America and protesting in Taiwan to release the political prisoners of the CCP among Falun Gong and others, and they seek an end to this oppression of their people.   (July 13, photo album of Washington D.C. protest)

Stormfront Admits to Selling “White Power” Shirt to Terrorist

The white supremacist Stormfront group admitted online on August 9, 2012 that its group was behind selling a shirt to white supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page that promotes “white pride world wide.”   Photos of Page in the shirt were previously published online.

Stormfront moderator and “chief of staff” “Jack Boot” stated in a August 9, 2012 posting on Stormfront that “I think I sold him that shirt, during our T-shirts fundraising phase.”  In terms of Wade Michael Page’s involvement in posting on Stormfront, “Jack Boot” also states “Almost certainly.”

White supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page killed 6 Sikhs in a terrorist attack on a Sikh temple on August 5, 2012.   This is one of a series of terrorist and murder activities from supporters of the Stormfront organization.

Stormfront provides an international web site to promote such white supremacist hatred not only within the United States, but also around the world.

After the August 5, 2012 murder of 6 Sikhs in Wisconsin by Stormfront supporter Wade Michael Page this same Stormfront moderator “Jack Boot” republished a post by a Stormfront supporter praising these terrorist killings, who described the murders as “finally a man who’s got some nerve… this is how points are made.”

As R.E.A.L. later posted, a number of other Stormfront supporters praised or supported violence against Sikhs, and the Stormfront organization leader Don Black openly told the press that “We think Sikhs belong back in India.”  This echoes the calls from other Stormfront supporters who seek to remove minority groups from the United States – one way or another.

Repeatedly, individuals linked to terrorism and murder in the United States of America have been identified as supporters of the white supremacist group Stormfront.   Stormfront supporter Daniel Cowart was convicted of a terrorist plot in 2010 to kill 88 African Americans and Barack Obama. Stormfront supporter Richard Poplawski murdered three police officers and wounded two others in 2009. Now Stormfront supporter Wade Michael Page murdered six Sikhs in their place of worship in 2012. (These are the recent attacks we know about.)

On a regular basis, we have found white supremacist supporters on Stormfront who have praised terrorist activity, and even called for additional violence, including calling for additional violence after the terrorist attack this week on Sikhs in America. Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) has documented and captured screen shots of these Stormfront supporters’ open calls for terrorism and violence. We have documented praise of James Von Brunn whose June 2009 terrorist attack on the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC left an African American security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns murdered. We have documented praise for the terrorist efforts of John Patrick Bedell in March 2010 attacking police officers at the Pentagon. We have documented praise for Joseph Stack’s terrorist attack in February 2010 in Austin, Texas, flying a plane into an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) building and killing an African American military veteran Vernon Hunter. We have even documented some Stormfront supporters’ praise for the 9/11 attackers. In every case, it was consistently wrong, and consistently against our shared human rights.

We urge the Stormfront members and supporters to renounce their white supremacist views and to respect the universal human rights, dignity, safety, liberty, and equality of people of all races, ethnic groups, religions, sex, sexual orientation, and other identity groups.

Free China Movie Calls for Chinese Freedom, Describes Falun Gong Struggle Against Communist Party

Epoch Times reports thatFree China: The Courage to Believe profiles the lives of two Falun Gong practitioners and the danger and pain they encountered in China in their quest for spiritual freedom. The absorbing documentary, to be shown at the upcoming Ottawa International Film Festival, begins with Chairman Mao’s elimination of culture, religion, and spiritual values in China so that the Communist Party would become all things to all people. It then moves on to how Falun Gong was introduced into this moral vacuum in the early 1990s, and explains why and how the persecution of the practice began in July 1999.  Jennifer Zeng and Charles Lee are introduced early in the film. Zeng was a Communist Party member, wife, and mother who was arrested and sent to a labor camp because of her beliefs.” See the rest of their report here.

Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) will continue to provide information regarding the Free China film, including this link, and trailer below.

Taiwan: Protests Call for Release of Falun Gong Man Abducted by CCP

Taiwan protests call for the release of imprisoned Taiwanese Falun Gong practitioner Chung Ting-pang who was abducted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) security on June 18 by police at the airport in Ganzhou City in southeastern China’s Jiangxi Province.  This has led to combined protests in Taiwan by Tibetans and Falun Gong, and other human rights, supporters, as described by the Taipei Times.

Epoch Times reports that: “The police have since said Chung was in China because he planned on broadcasting information about the spiritual practice of Falun Gong on China’s cable TV system. The 53-year-old Chung is a Falun Gong practitioner. He is also a very friendly and highly respected businessman, an IT manager of a high-tech company in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.” See the complete Epoch Times Report here.

Report: Pakistan Christian Nurses Poisoned

The ANS reports that “Eleven Pakistani Christian student nurses were allegedly deliberately poisoned with mercury on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the Civil Hospital in Karachi.  According to one of the affected nurses, a colleague had made the tea for them and after 10pm they immediately fell ill after drinking it.   The nurses were taken to the Civil Hospital’s emergency ward and sent back after treatment. They developed complications the next morning and had to be taken to the hospital again.  Three student nurses were in very critical situation two went in ICU and one is on ventilator rest five is now in general ward. All the student nurses were Christians. Chief Nursing Superintendent Mrs. Nasreen Gill said that a First Information Report (FIR) has been launched against unknown person and added that they are investigating how this incident took place and stated that they will do ‘a crystal clean investigation.'”

The report also suggested that there were rumors that they were poisoned by someone for failing to comply with Ramadan fasting.

There has not been any further confirmation or media reports on this.

Pakistan Christians are an oppressed minority religious group within Pakistan, and have regularly been the targets of other religious extremists.

Pakistan Hindus Leaving Country

PCP reports: “When President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari was claiming ‘Minorities are enjoying equal rights and fully protected in Pakistan’ addressing a gathering in President House to mark Minorities Day, the electronic media was telecasting images of train at Jacobabad railway station boarding 250 Pakistani Hindus migrating to India.” See the rest of the story at PCP, which asks the question “Where Pakistani Christians to migrate while Hindus to India?”.

The Pakistan Express News also reports that “Persecution forces 60 Hindu families to migrate to India” stating that:  “Amid increasing cases of violence and lack of security against their community, 60 Hindu families from Balochistan and Sindh have decided to migrate to India, Express News reported on Thursday. Four out of the 60 families left for India during midday via Samjhota Express from Lahore Railway Station. The rest of the families are expected to travel by today. According to Express News correspondent Aftab Bukhari, five families residing in Aatma Raam Haweli – joint residence – vacated it this morning in order to move out to India. Bukhari said that the families had complaints that their shops were looted, their houses were raided by unknown men and their women were forcefully converted. He said that the visas on their passports were not permanent, however, he said that chances of them coming back to Pakistan were slim.”

Why Can’t America Recognize Racist Terrorism?

The weak response by too many in the American media, security organizations, and even some human rights groups to the terrorist attack by a white supremacist against a Wisconsin Sikh temple on August 5 is appalling, hypocritical, and disturbing.

We must consistently support the universal human rights, respect, and security for all people of all races and religions, including their freedom of religious worship, without fear of violence. Our unyielding position on this and our unending challenge to those who would defy this must be the same for everyone in America and around the world. Sikh lives are not cheap, and no one’s life is cheap in America or anywhere in the world. All of our fellow human beings’ lives matter and are precious.

The failure to understand and grasp white racial supremacist and other racist hatred as an anti-social force for destruction and violence by too many in America today is astounding, and this must change. Many of these racial supremacists view their race as their “religion,” and their goal is to remove (by whatever means necessary) those that would stand in the way of their perfect racial supremacist society.

I remain astounded by those who focus on this latest terrorist attack on the Sikhs as one by an individual with a former military background, with a drinking problem, or with relationship problems – and diminish the white supremacist racial hatred that drove Wade Michael Page to commit his terrorist act against Sikhs in America on August 5.

Terrorist Wade Michael Page pulled the trigger, but the ammunition of hatred was provided by organizations that promote such white supremacist ideologies. One of the largest such groups, Stormfront, provide an international web site to promote such white supremacist hatred not only within the United States, but also around the world.

All of them have been supporters of Stormfront and posters on Stormfront’s web site. Photographs of terrorist Wade Michael Page have been distributed wearing a shirt with the Stormfront “white pride world wide” logo. But there has been limited focus on the Stormfront organization and its supporters’ links to violence and terrorism.

White Supremacist Terrorist and Stormfront Poster/Supporter Wade Michael Page – Wearing Shirt with Stormfront “World Wide Pride” Logo – Wade Page Murdered Six Sikhs in a Wisconsin Temple on August 5, 2012

But when the leader of Stormfront (and a former Ku Klux Klan wizard) Don Black tells the news media that Stormfront doesn’t “condone violence,” members of media shrug their shoulders, look no further, don’t ask questions about Stormfront supporters involved in terrorism and murder, and don’t ask any questions about these numerous reports. They simply publish what he says. Furthermore, when Stormfront leader Don Black tells the media that “We think Sikhs belong back in India,” there is no challenge to his comments by the media. Stormfront brushes the media aside and goes back to their promotion of white supremacist ideology on the Internet, in meetings, and on a daily public radio show on WBPR 1340 AM.

The ammunition of the white supremacist ideology of hate is used by those who commit white supremacist terrorism. We have seen this again in Wisconsin this week in America, and it must be a wake up call for Americans. We must the challenge the ideology of white supremacism, just like we challenge every other ideology that seeks to deny the human rights and dignity of our fellow human beings.

Too many Americans cannot recognize the terrorist threat of white supremacist racial hate. White supremacist racial hatred and its violent terrorism has roots in historical hate against non-white and other minority citizens, which remains a historical stain Americans must continue to work to challenge. When I was a boy, there were parts of America where businesses would only serve “White Clientele Only.” America has changed, but we must continue to challenge white supremacist hate. We continue to see those promoting and exploiting historical divisions in our nation. One of the other groups that white supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page was involved with was the Confederate Hammerskins group.

Racial extremist groups reject equal rights and dignity for all of our citizens. But we must be one nation, indivisible, with liberty, justice, and equality for all Americans – of every race and every identity group.

If we demand other nations to challenge their extremist ideologies and groups, we must also set the standard in challenging extremist ideologies and groups in our nation as well.

If these were extremist organizations with Muslims involved, let us be very candid, we would see a very different reaction by the media, security organizations, and others. If there was such a centralized organization here in the United States, which was holding a daily radio broadcast to promote such extremist views used by terrorists, there would be a hue and cry among the public, calls for challenging those promoting extremist views of hate, and a demand for accountability.

But when it comes to racist terrorism, too many shrug their shoulders. They ask “what can I do?” “Why should I be concerned?” “Isn’t this only a few individuals?” Will they be just as placid about this if the terrorist attack comes from extremists in another identity group? I think we all know the answer to this. We must not be hypocrites in our nation or around the world.

The argument that we should not “give attention” to people such as white supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page is overshadowed by the larger societal need to educate people in our society about the challenges of white supremacism and other racist views. Our society needs to continue to be educated as to the threats such groups represent to human rights and lives of our fellow Americans and our fellow human beings.

Others have told the media that we should not be concerned about the events of white supremacist group events recruiting others to spread hate, stating that these events are just for them “to get together, drink Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, fight, listen to music, that sort of stuff.” But we have seen first-hand their efforts to make new recruits to their army of white supremacism to spread the disease of this hate throughout our nation. We must acknowledge and challenge the threat of white supremacist hatred.

Most disturbingly, many have written about how they STRUGGLED to imagine what the possible MOTIVATION would be for a white supremacist terrorist to kill people predominantly of a different ethnic group. Today, the Associated Press published an article, reporting comments from law enforcement that we might never “know” the motivation of white supremacist terrorist Wade Michael Page to kill people who look different, have a different religion, or those who have different skin color.   We have heard this repeatedly by too many.  They can’t possibly imagine why this white supremacist thinks this way. Certainly, this naive attitude has some positive aspects in that the view of race as a rationale for violence has grown even more nonsensical than it once was.

But our defense of law and order, consistent human rights, and equal rights for people of all races, religions, sex, ethnicity, national origin, and other identify groups – cannot simply be built on naivety and ignorance of the challenges we continue to face in our society and our world.

We honor innocence, but to be fully responsible for equality and liberty we also need some understanding of world we live in, so that we can continue to grow and build as a society.

Every day at 9 AM, the leaders of Stormfront will go on the West Palm Beach WBPR radio station 1340 AM to promote their views and spread their ideology of white supremacism. The radio station appreciates Stormfront’s business and welcomes the listeners. Our freedom of speech allows Stormfront leaders to spread their message of white supremacist hatred.

By let us not forget that our freedom of speech also empowers us as well. We too have a right and a RESPONSIBILITY to speak out, educate others, and challenge those promoting the ideologies that reject such universal human rights, dignity, and safety for our fellow human beings.

While there may not be a challenge from the media, those promoting hate must know they will be challenged by those of us Responsible for Equality And Liberty – for everyone, around the world.

One final personal note to my Christian brothers and sisters, it is a deep shame that some in these white supremacist groups, such as Stormfront, use a Celtic cross in their campaigns. While some non-Christians have sought to redefine the Celtic cross, any Christian symbol, words, or trappings used to reject equality, dignity, and safety for our fellow human beings, is also a rejection of Christianity as well.  In America, we have seen those that promote racial hatred continue to use such symbols, as well as promotion on Stormfront by those racist groups holding “cross burnings” (what they call “cross lighting”) in our nation.  I  urge Christians in America and around the world to not let the cross and symbols of Christianity be used to promote racial or other hatred by those who would spread lies about the Christian faith.  I urge Christians in America and around the world to challenge those who would use such Christian symbols to denigrate and demean others, and I urge them to use their Christian lives to demonstrate their commitment to respect, humility, and love for one another.

Choose Love, Not Hate. Love Wins.
